Don't go into college with the mindset you currently have. You will fail out and do so quickly. You can't reasonably expect to put yourself in a position where you have to work hard - harder than sighted people - when you want to kill yourself and are feeling sorry for yourself all day long. You've talked about procrastination, that needs sorted. You need to be in therapy and get your mind right before you go into an academic environment where you will face challenges every day.

You're not ready for that yet, You need to build yourself up first. Not when getting out of bed or doing basic house chores is difficult for you right now.

Look, what happened to you sucks. Losing your vision like that and having your whole world turned upside down is gonna fuck with you. But you have to move on at some point. Getting professional help is tantamount to doing so and is going to correlate with your chances of success. Not only do you need therapy, but you need the right kind of therapist. Someone who will call you out when you need it. Someone who will cut you off at the knees when you start talking like you're spiraling. Someone who won't treat you like a child or like you're such a special person because you managed to cook yourself some eggs and get on an outfit that matches. It may even take time to find such a person.

If you go into college and can't handle the load, you'll fail. If you fail, it'll be a huge hit to your already low self confidence. If that happens, you may actually hit that point where you say the hell with it and actually commit suicide. That's why I'm saying get your mind right before you put yourself in a position where you're going to be pulled and pushed and challenged.
