Which file? The only file I can find is the sound file in the game directory, and for some reason it only has two options, for ambient sound and mute on BG.
So here's a random curiosity thing for anyone who happens to know. Why is it that the read me on Github states that only the Steam version of the game is supported? Is the GOG version of the game different in some critical way that would prevent the mod from working?
I don't think you can use mod the spire with gog. You need mod the spire to make say the spire work.

does this have keyboard support as of now? looking forward to trying it.
Unfortunately no keyboard support yet. Though some people have used a program that emulates a xbox controller with the keyboard. I do not remember the name so you would have to do some digging in this topic or just some googling. And of course as an alternative to say the spire there is text the spire which makes slay the spire text based. So there are ways to play without a controller if you want or you can wait for the keyboard support to be added. However there is no information when that is going to be done.
Hi. Regarding text the spire. Where I can find a tutorial to install it again? I encounter problems with it. I can't move between screens with alt left and right arrow. Also it didn't read automatically the text.
Just to check are you using read the spire with text the spire. It is a separate thing and it provides the alt arrow navigation and automatic text reading for text the spire. As for the text the spire install instructions they can be found from its GithHub Readme.
edit: Oh and if you are using read the spire already make sure you have the latest version. Sometime ago there was a slay the spire update that broke it and read the spire had to be updated to fix the issue.
I have a question! Does version from G O G still working? I want to play slay the spire but I dont like steam platform!
yeah i actually want to check this out, seems pretty bad ass from the gameplay vids i watched on youtube.....i have never messed around with steem tho

I'm curious if anyone has managed to get this working with PS4 controllers? fOr some reason my copy is treating the thing as if the joystick were a mouse, which isn't ideal. I'm curious if I'll enjoy this particular method of control more than the text adventure-style UI of TTS, but am having trouble getting started at the moment.
I do not have personal experience with this but folks here have used a program called DS4 to get their ps4 controllers to work with slay the spire.
Yeah, I am using DS4windows and my DS4 controller works just fine.
That's actually good to know, I never tried to use my DS4 with this one. Interesting that Steam's native support treats it as a mouse, though. My 8BitDo doesn't do that.
so, will be wonderful if we can get at least the update's with some bugs solved, like that on the string parser for other languages, and the match event. Just saying

yep, I do at some point want to stream this game with slay the streamer (seem's a very fun mod 
), but actually with the bug in the parser I can't use the Spanish translation, so it will get a little boring to my audience, which are Spanish players
Was hoping for keyboard support as it's always been stated on the github page, (keyboard support coming soon...) sense I don't have a controller at the moment but looks like this ain't gunna happen anytime in the near future. I'm hoping I'm wrong on this but...

It looks like keyboard support isn't available on the master branch yet, AKA the current release. It seems like it's still in the development stages, from what I can see.

I've compiled a version like two days ago, I think that being opensource there's no problem to share that so, here's the link. just unsubscribe from say the spire on steam workshop and paste the mods folder on your slay the spire folder after extract the dot zip file
