As long as you download from the official website and run the screen reader without administrative rights, I don't see the issue. This store version could work provided you don't need access to web browsers, but I hope the web browser issue can be resolved at some point. If we're going to be so afraid because NVDA is open source, it's time to tell companies to give up all the other open source software such as Linux. Seriously, this is fucking ridiculous!

Remember that you also have access to Narrator, which is constantly getting better. I could easily imagine someone using a combination of NVDA and Narrator. I love the fact I have two good screen readers on my system, both of which are free and not controlled by a greedy corporation that's only interested in milking as much money from governments and other organizations as humanly possible.
