Thank you so much for those awesome recommendations! I'm really excited with Code7, didn't know the episodes 2 and 3 were released already. I'm going to continue browsing and see what else I find. Feel free to suggest more!

@leibylucw, it's totally worth it if you like card games like ugeo.
I'm thinking about injustice, it's just£3, is it worth it, how's the accessibility? DO the menus talk?
ultimate mvc is definitely worth it if you're interested. there is so much love put into that game; heck sometimes I just go into the galary mode and listen to the music.
So, anything bar fighting games? Laptop isn't high enough spec to run MvC Ultimate...so aside Slay the Spire, what else?
@seb7 Yup, they are! Have been since April 2019, I believe. They've also released a short bit of extra content called Party Heist that you can play through once you've completed EP 3. Episode 4 will take a bit more time to come out -- we'll have to wait until September at the very least -- but it's definitely worth the wait.
@JaceK There isn't an enormous amount of choice unfortunately, but I recommended 4 non-fighting games in post #21; Code 7, Alt-Frequencies, A Blind Legend and Sequence Storm. Maybe one of them will be to your liking? Slay The Spire is one that I forgot, and am kind of tempted to buy now.
Already got Code 7 on itch.io, and Warsim....oooh I could pick Warsim up on Steam though. Alt Frequencies is interesting though, but how much replay value is there in the ones you listed? I don't want to buy a game, beat it then have no replay value
@JaceK if your comp can run code7 it probably can run Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3. The specs on that are really low and I can play it on my 2017 macbook air which has low specs written all over it.
Hmm ... to be entirely honest, Alt-Frequencies does not have a whole lot replay value. I only spent a couple hours on it, to get both of the endings and all of the achievements. Its premise is odd but has potential, potential that then wasn't properly realized.
But even so, I don't think it's a waste of money. It did make me think a bit, and was the source of a few good laughs. Since it's currently discounted, I think it's pretty fair for the price.
A Blind Legend is similar. Linear storyline, with replayability value mostly added by the achievements, the harder difficulty and the ability to skip around among chapters to replay your favorite parts. Its combat system is nothing unique nowadays, but it was among the first ones to do it well. The story is a bit cliche, and the voice acting maybe of slightly lower quality than in Alt-Frequencies (and definitely less awesome than in Code 7), but the sound design is amazing.
Since ABL is also a phone game, and free on there, one could argue it's less worth buying. Playing on the phone is definitely more challenging. But it's 2,79 EUR right now, so I grabbed it anyway. At least on the computer I don't have to worry about running out of lives.
@Mayana really, thanks for sharing those tips. I tried to join to the discord channel but I got an error message. Basically, it says the invitation is invalid or may be expired. Could you please send it again?
I also played ABL a while ago and liked it, though I didn't like the end so much.
Edit. I could join to the Discord server already! Thank you!
Thanks for answering my question about playing via the keyboard. I've just purchased Alt-Frequencies, Ultimate Marvel Vs Capcom 3, Ultra Street Fighter IV, and Killer Instinct along with its soundtrack. I would've loved to have bought Mortal Kombat 11, but that'll have to wait for another time.
UMVC 3 and USF (as I'll call them) are great, but I'm still trying to figure out the keyboard layout in Killer Instinct. I don't have sighted assistance at the moment, but somehow managed to win a couple fights in the arcade mode. Is there a complete list of the commands available? I also can't seem to get past the tutorial levels in what I assume is the story mode. Any suggestions?
Yours Sincerely,
Kelly Sapergia
Someone listed some keyboard buttons for ki in like post 25 or 26 I think.
If you're looking for a game with a lot of replay value, I'd deffinetly pick up slay the spire, it takes a bit of work getting up and running, look on the audiogames.net general game forum for help, but once it's done; it's a great game.
@39 I saw mention of those commands, and that indeed helped, but it would be good to know what other keys are used. I'll get the game figured out one way or another.
Speaking of fighting games, I see Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection is on sale as well. Has anyone tried it? If it's as accessible using NVDA's OCR like UMVC3 is, I may get it as I loved playing Street Fighter II in the arcade and on the SNES back in the 90s.
Also, I changed my mind about Mortal Kombat 11, I'm getting that one as well, though not the Aftermath DLC for now.
Thanks.
Yours Sincerely,
Kelly Sapergia
Is anyone here enjoying Red Dead 2 on PC? I'm trying to pinch pennies to get some music gear that I want but I really do wanna play this game
Red Dead 2? I've heard of it but don't know much about it, isn't it accessible to the blind and what's it about?
I think you should speak to Ironcross about rdr2. From what I know, you can use a trainer like in gta v and a completed story save. You can do a lot of things in the game like, I don't know, steal horses, kill people and so on.
@41 a s d w to move probably and besides the punch buttons you don't need to learn anything else. Yes, sf 30th collection is super playable. I don't own it, but my classmate has that on her ps4.
Love street fighter 30th anniversary collection. Only wish they included alpha 3 upper, super turbo is as hard as nails but it's a fun games collection. There isnt much in the way of unlockables, but if you just want all the old games and art and music in one place then it's perfect, plus there's online play for 4 of the 12 included games.
@44 OK, thanks. I'll give those a try next time I play KI.
@45 Sounds good. I'm grabbing it now.
Yours Sincerely,
Kelly Sapergia
If croixleur sigma is on discount, consider picking up that one as well for something different. It's an arena brawler, but has a pretty nifty auto targeting system. Also completely in japanese, but most of the text doesnt auto scrolling so you can ocr it.
I did get MK 11 Kombat Pack for the extra DLC, though Aftermath wasn't on sale which makes sense since it was just released a little over a month ago.
I guess I just need to pick a character from MK and SFV and sit down with them to learn how they work. I'm a total newb when it comes to these games.
Hi friends! I have picked up blaz blue collection on steam. are these games playable?
