During my quest to find more games to play, I found half a dozen  browser-based games that haven't been mentioned in this forum as far as I can tell. Although they share some similar features among them, they are still rather addicting, evidanced by the fact that they also share almost the same community.
I'm not going to describe each game in detail, but I'm going to give a rundown of the shared features among them.

battling or trading, known as tsing by the communities, ts standing for tradeskills: In all of those games, you can choose either battling or a trading skill as your specialization. You can also do everything of course, however this hinders you from moving up the ladder as quickly as desirable. Trading refers to gathering and crafting skills. Crafting is also a thing by the way. Some of them, like avabur, offer a pretty complex crafting system, whereas some of them only use resources for buildings. The good news is, even if there isn't a crafting system, you still get to customize your gear's stats, or at least upgrade their level, something for which you need gold and/or resources. All of those resource requirements lead to a pretty active market, another interesting feature of the games. Cross trading between the games is also possible and it's done very often, but it should be done with caution since the admins and mods are not responsible if one gets cheatted while cross-trading.

autos: All of them have a mechanic which is similar to an idle clicker game, where you click on a button and let the game run by itself. Although you might need to move up to stronger mobs to kill or better gathering sights from time to time, you can have the games running while doing other things with no big problem. On a couple of those games, occasionally  you need to verify that you are not a robot by pressing a button or checkbox. Also, the amount of autos or actions you can do is limitted, but you can boost them easily by joining a clan/guild and other methods. By the way the limitation is not a set amount per day or anything, you just need to refill your action bar with a button or something similar. A few of them don't even need the game window to be running, once you get it going it's entirely server-side.

Houses: Nearly all of the games let you build your house from scratch. Each item and/or room you build gives a small bonus to an aspect of the game. At first the bonuses aren't big, but as you level up your house and the existing items in it and add new items, the bonuses get quite powerful. For example, leveling up your library on pendoria gives 1% extra experience per level.

clans/guilds: All of them have clans or guilds. Apart from having a community to chat with and recieve all kinds of help from, they also give huge boosts depending on the specialization of the clan or guild. Some of them require  a small donation of gold or resources depending on your style of play, but newbies are not required to donate until they fill comfortable enough to do so. At the beginning, you might not be able to get into high level clans, but as you level up, you get the opportunity to join  the best ones easily. Oh and clans/guilds are like houses, where you need to build and level up clan buildings to recieve boosts, and that's why the small donations are required from the members.

Dungeons ore bosses: In all of those games, there is some form of dungeon or bossfight where you can gain special loot or boosted normal loot. They can be done solo, or they can be done with the help of other players, like guild and area bosses on lyrania.

Last but far from least, besides the normal game currency, there is also another currency known as credits, crystals or tokens depending on the game, that can be bought with real money and spent on very powerful boosts. The mentioned currencies are pretty easy to gain in game in many ways as well, so spending real money is not necessary at all. In fact a lot of high players seem to have the peasant title, indicating that they have never spent a penny on those games.

there are also some other features that I have either forgotten to mention or they are specific to one game, etc.

The layouts of some of those games may need some getting used to, but they can easily be figured out with time. It also seems that the layout and accessibility on some of them slightly gets better if the game window is maximized.

WARNING: on some games, especially pendoria and avabur, refilling your actions while using NVDA and chrome sends a false alarm to the game and you maybe mistaken for a bot. I was approached by an admin on avabur, and got banned outright on pendoria. After sending an appeal to pendoria's staff, I was able to convince them that I wasn't botting. Note that I'm using NVDA+chrome, not sure how it is with other combinations of screen readers and browsers. If this happened to anyone just let them know that you're using a screenreader and maybe remind them of neodin's problem, just don't bot for real LOL.

And now for the links, all of which are the referral links of Neodin, yours truely smile

Dragon swords: This has an occasional captcha that can't be solved without some sort of addon, since you have to type some text on a picture or something. I told the admins about it, they said that they can remove the captcha for me when it comes up and they are going to think of a long term solution in the meantime. However it's been 2 weeks and I never heard from them and no long term solution, I was also told that the admins have been ignoring other problems of that kind as well, so I stopped playing this one. https://dsrpg.co

As mentioned above, my character in all of them is neodin, feel free to get in touch if needed, although I'm still a newbie myself smile

personally I'd recommend being careful when playing these games, not because they're bad for yyour computer or anything but because I've tried 2, avabur and Gates of survival and they both are quite tricky to navigate.

Also, it seams you can't delete your acount on either, I'm really not a fan of that type of system.

So if you want to try them, go ahead but be prepared to find navigation tricky.

Please give a little more information about the accessibility of these games. Which do you find the most accessible? What, other than the captcha, problems do you find? Do you have a favorite among these?

just letting you know that a lot of stuff on gates of survival is accessible but not all the things are, which is a bit of a problem as there will be things you definitely won't be able to do.

Agreed on gates of survival, some bits of the game's access seemed sort of odd.

I tried lirania a while ago, but now can't get my account restarted as the password reset email is tied to my old email account, though I was thinking it perhaps needs a db entry. The others I don't believe I've tried.

@2, Like I said, they do need some getting used to, but once you familiarize yourself with the elements of the game, navigation isn't that bad, with a combination of h and b and e and other keys in some cases, it's quite easy.

@3, my favourites are pendoria, avabur and lyrania. Avabur and lyrania because of the crafting system and the multitude of items that are available to build in your house. On avabur, you don't have to refill your action bar all the time. Even if you run out of actions, the game continues running, albeit more slowly. On all those 3 games, the currency that needs to be bought with real money is quite easy to get in game. Also they have around at least 300 players online, so you can always ask for help and get an answer, even if not right away.

in all of the games accessibility is pretty good. There are a few cases where you need to do stuff with the object nav, but it can be done easily. In avabur, you need to hover your mouse on items to know the stats and such, and when you have a piece of gear equipped you don't see its name. I've let the admins know about it and they were quite open. They said that they are going to fix it, but it may take time. Gates of survival, the only things that I haven't been able to do are buying gems and healing in combat, which is not necessary at all. There was some accessibility problem with inventory and gear on GOS, but I've recently been able to use those without a problem.

hmm. A lot of these games sound similar, and not that i don't like about that, and your post mentioned that it wouldn't be a full getting started guide for each, but. A lot of the names sound similar, and you said most of those games all have the things you listed. What one, at least in your top 3 or 5, are better because of a certain feature like if one has pvp and all the others don't, or better staff, or players in general, or more in game features like that, jus tlittle things that would boost my want to try out a certain game out of the rest. Also, a game that has beenmentioned here rarely but i know has been mentioned before is www.titanconquest.com. I know at least from the last post, there has been battle effects, more events, newitems added to the ancient coin shop on the weekends, and a few tweeks here and there. recently, a power week finishes on the game, and events like that are definitly planned in the feature. I wrote a getting started help topic in the articles room and the developer is also a member of the forum, his named on both is firestream. The other staff are nice and have good senses of humor, and the chat is nice as well. Only issues in the chat are some little emoji's in the game people do if someone reaches a big goal don't read out, so it just looks like a random blank chat something, but they are usually only used when someone reaches 99 or gets a PE kill.

@brad, I'd say avabur. The staff are nice, the chat active, the community is very helpful. There is also a crafting system and a detailed house building. I'd also say lyrania and pendoria, since They also have a nice community and active staff, but go with avabur and see how it goes smile

Lyrania seams the most accesible so far.

I just asked for a ticket to delete my account.

Lyrania is about 20 percent accessible, some things need labeling, for example the casino and gem monk place.

I don't understand what it is with places and not letting you delete your account but i really don't like it.

LOL I don't know how do you define accessibility, but saying 20% of lyrania is accessible is rediculous. Anyway, to each their own.

@goran, the battleing system works, but the casino and gem place with the monks is quite tricky to use for me, sometimes the combo boxes didn't seam to work, so yeah, I'd say it's usable but not fully accessible.

I signed up for Lirania again, since I do remember playing at one point.
My problem here is that the game basically feels like progress quest, just wait around for timers to complete, there are no descriptions or anything like that.
I will say the interface can be made easier buy going to display ant turning off the popup interface, since otherwise several tabs seemed to load at once.
Also I didn't find anything actually inaccessible, and from an access perspective, all the combo boxes are sort of handy.

However, all that being said, it's probably not a game I'll spend too much time on, if i want something idle, I'd prefer a single player game with progress and an ending thanks.

@dark understandable, I enjoyed each of them at first while there were new things to discover, but now I'm starting to get the same feeling as well actually. Also the trading and building aspects are what have kept me playing a couple of them so far, otherwise it only becomes raising your level number and that's it.
Eventually I probably ditch all of them and only stick  to one or even none smile

yeah, i'm just gonna stick with titan conquest for me. Just from what i've heard from this topic, they don't sound worth my time. I can kind of understand the not letting you delete your account because, what if htye make something ground breaking and you want to try it, and it effects this type of account or something special for an account made this time and you lost out on it because you deleted said account? But, yeah. The accessibility from these from what i've heard here sounds hit or miss, and while titan conquest has some labled graphics and you use a lot of nvda+numpad divide to move your mouse to where your keyboard focus is and a lot of spam clicking, it just sounds a lot better. While there might not be houses or pvp or being able to get past level 99 yet and its just a battle, kill all these enemies, go different places with stronger enemies until you reach the last place type of game, it sounds a lot ore accessible, with a lot nicer staff. And no you can't ask for your acccount to be deleted as far as  i know, however if you wish to not be subscribed to notification through e-mail you can unsubscribe, or maybe its deleted after 6 months, i forget those specifics sense i've never looked  into it sense i've gotten into the game and spent money on it. Anyways like i said, i wrote an article to help you get started in the articles room if you'd like, the link is www.titanconquest.com, the devs in game name and on the forum is firestream, and i hope you enjoy whatever games you play, even if its not titan conquest.

Sounds like titan conquest isn't much different from them from what you said. Those games' accessibility isn't so bad, and they are also about killing mobs and moving on to higher mobs when you master your current ones.

I don't get what's so bad about not letting you delete your account. While it certainly would be nicer to have the option of deleting it, you can just stop playing them if you really want. Since I've started playing them, I have not gotten a single email from any of them except the verification one, if that.

actually, when compared to your first post, titan conquest sounds like something rather basic while these were extremely advanced and had ore systems than c. Tittan conquest doesn't have those building things like houses. I wiill tell you anything that can give you a boost.
events: events are the good ones. These usually give you 50% xp and drachma, or only xp or only drachma, depending on the event. If any boosts happen durring an event, it will be listed with the event details.
clans if you are in a clan, you start off by getting a 10% for every person in your clan you battle with, so if you have 4 people in your clan in the same area as you you will get 40% extra xp and drachma.
Boosters: boosters are ones that you can buy yourself, like a ghost cloak to make you unhittable for 100 attacks, or attack boosters. Other than critical boosters, vanguard marks, and the material amounts you can buy in the same  shop, everything has a normal, level 2, and level 3. A normal is 50 attacks, number 2 is 500 attacks, and number 3 is 2000 attacks. They stack, so if you use an attack booster 1, 2, and 3, it'll give you the boosts for each of those however if you use 5 attack booster 3's it'll only act as one attack booster 3 but go for 10000 attacks.

I'm afraid I found the accessibility in titan conquest down right frustrating, whether on Phone or chrome.
impropper labels, tabs not closing when they should, cluttered pages etc. ON that basis Lirania scores more highly at least, since everything is standard web controls, combo boxes etc.

This isn't to say "don't play titan conquest", just be aware of the issues.
Another thing to remember, is titan conquest is more like classic browser games, you have to actively do the fighting, seek out enemies, and even do story quests, where as the likes of gates of survival and lirania are more like idle games, just ones played with different people.

This means for example, that combat in something like titan conquest is at least a wee bit more interesting, rather than just waiting around for stuff to happen, which is in turn why many idle games have other elements.

Myself, I miss the more complex games that featured both kinds of gameplay, stuff you could set running and go back and check occasionally, as well as active combat.

A great example is Drakor, automated crafting and gathering, but a commpletely interactive and complex combat system.

Another is puppet nightmares.

What I've always myself looked for in browser games, whether idle or not is immersion and activities, good writing, interesting areas etc, and activities with at least a little variety in their execution.

Indeed, I am finding these days I'm more a fan of playing muds long term, just because even running around and smakcing monsters tends to be more fun, rather than hitting attack again and again and again.

dark, i have ot agree with you. While it is not the best, you can get a hang of it quite quickly. It was advertised as the kind of game that is a clicker, so whenever your signing up you can kind of tell your oigng to have to actively participate. While thereare not many things other than ttack attack attack and why didn't this thing fudging died and now it crit me for 15000 so i'm dead, ow, at least compared to the comments i've seen in this post the accessibility is better. And what do you mean by tabs not closing when they should. Everything happens when its supposed to unless i have lag witch is something that is might fault and i shold be working to fix, not the games. the game is always, always in one window or tab, unless you click on a link in chat that takes you to a completely different site in witch case yeah, its gonna open a new tab.
