Hi.

Shit people, seriously. there you have basically two months where nothing of interest starts happening, and suddenly stress levels instantly get ramped up into afterburner state.
Basically the following happened.
On Thursday, so three days ago a new horse together with it's owner moved into the stable I'm at most of my free time.
Not even a day later, the horse lays dead on the meddow, there are burn marks on his head, skinn is missing from parts of the boddy and one leg is broken. We initially thought the horse might have been spooked in the night by something, paniked, got tangled in the fence and pulled free, this would explain the burn marks, ran, fell over and died due to a stress Colik.

Well, the problem is, it turns out that there were people beeing spotted at the meadow right around the time the vet said the horse might have died, and if other reports we have received should proove themselves true, we have a friggin crime story on our hands.
Because this involves the previous owners of the horse which lost it due to the local vet office taking the horse away and apparently they wanted to get the horse back and well, what happened is written above. This isn't prooven yet but highly likely.
What will happen is that we all have to go to the police next week, do our reports, tell them what we have and show them the screenshots of conversations we had and well, see what happens afterwards.

so yeah, that's what happened here the last three days.

Greetings Moritz.

@Juliantheaudiogamer, oh exams, I remember those. Thank goodness I don't have then anymore big_smile.
Fortunately, when I took them, there was no way of inspecting my computer since I needed it for revision, so I didn't have to take any games etc off which was good.

@Simba, that is really sad about the horse, also rather nuts as Dark eagle said, though some people are inherently bonkers. I will not be mentioning this to my lady since she loves horses and hates cruilty to animals and likely description of something like that would send her into a fury.

@Dark eagle, welll, the hole subject of girls and attraction is a long and tortuous one, especially if your a blind person, there are several topics on this forum about the subject. I sincerely hope your not in as bad a position as I was in, since I suffered genophobia (fear of sex), for literally most of my life before I met my lady in 2015. On the other hand, if I! of all people can end up with a miraculously wonderful marriage that fulfills so many romantic cliches it sounds literally impossible, it really can! happen to anyone big_smile.

I'd like to offer some advice, but the best advice I unfortunately have is the fairly standard "don't be an arsehole", (it's remarkable how much dating advice boils down to don't be an arsehole), and be very, very lucky big_smile.

@wing of eternity: I answered your pm, but as I said in that pm, your probably best having that sort of discussion in public anyhow, since there isn't particularly a reason to keep such matters private, and it's always good to give others the chance to chime in if they wish.

Well things have been a wee bit stressful over the past few days, for all the leviathan chronicles continues to be fun, and we've just finished skyward by Brandon sanderson. My lady has been in touch with the hospital, and yes, it does seem she will need to go in for a scan to see if the cancer is gone. The problem is, this will mean using hospital transport, essentially an ambulance version of a Taxi, which has room for her, and possibly her guide dog, but not for me, let alone me andd ! my dog
So, that is not going to be the least bit fun. Hopefully the radio therapy will have done the trick, but of course there is always the worry that it hasn't, and neither my lady nor I is keen on the idea of her going in alone to find out without me there for moral support, but that is likely what we will have to do.

So quite aside from worry about corona, we have worry about Cancer too, which is a pest, said pest increased by the fact that the British government are already talking about lifting lockdown measures which seems down right dumb!

on the plus side, I'm writing another story, doing zombies run, and occasionally still checking into Eamon for a quick bit of carnage, though I'm tempted to log back in to my char on cosmic rage, since reading skyward has given me the fancy for some space battles.

Hope everyone is okay.

Well things are a little crazy for me this morning, yesterday i took one of those NoDoz energy pills along with my morning cup of coffee, i didn’t notice any difference until night time when i couldn’t get to sleep. I didn’t sleep half the night, since i find sleeping during the day a lazy thing to do i’ll just have to get through the day as best i can.
On a happier note i started a new book called the sweetness at the bottom of the pie by alan bradley. I decided to read this book because i was confused as to what kind of book it is. It’s about a child detective who tries to solve a murder yet it seems to be written for adults rather than children. i don’t have any opinion on the story yet since i’ve just started but i’ll talk more about that later.
@simba, i’m sorry to hear about the horse, i hate it when animals of any kind are brutalized. I hope the people who did this get what they deserve!
@dark, i’m so sorry to hear about your wife! If you don’t mind i’ll be praying for the both of you and that she does recover. I can’t imagine what the two of you are going through but from what you have said it sounds like the two of you have a wonderful marriage.

Hi,
@Dark: I didn't have to actually delete them, I just had to move everything onto my USB drive, but it's annoying anyway.
Today, I had my German exam which was not easy but not hard either but tomorrow will probabbly be a Piece of cake because tomorrow I have my English exam.
@Guitarman: Is that something like an energy drink in pill form?

Hope everyone is fine.

Greetings and happy gaming, Julian

It’s a pill that has caffeine in it you can buy them at any drug store here in america, not sure about other countries though.

@Guitarman, my lady, as a none loopy christian  would appreciate the prayers, thanks. Yes, our marriage is a bit unbelievable, one  mutual friend described us as the disney couple, especially since we both have a habbit of bursting into song occasionally, though I admit, cancer has been bloody aweful, not quite as aweful as it has been for some of course, but still not fun.

It also doesn't help that the cancer support group helpfully didn't like blind people so found a petty excuse to get rid of us, so we have just sort of tried to cope as we can, but such is unfortunately often par for the course in Britain.

anyway, on the plus side, since I recently made some actual cash doing voiceover work, I actually was able to splash out and buy my lady and I a hole bunch of nice things on Amazon, including several interesting cream liqueurs, and some of my favourite chocolate truffles. yee gods I like truffles!
Since however I'm still keeping up with the running and the weights thanks to the undead, that shouldn't be too much of a problem. Indeed, as I finished all the regular missions in season 2, I thought I'd give the Apocalypse a wee bit of a break and do one of their new adventures, this time rule Britania, in which you play a Roman legionary on Hadrian's wall (since I've actually seen, and indeed fell off Hadrian's wall myself, I thought this might be a fun one to do, and I like the way that just as you are runner 5 in Zombies run, and were  specialist 5 in Venus rising, this time you're the legionary Quintis big_smile.

Actually, with shamans who  enter the minds of animals, and lots of angry pictish people, as well as two sides, the picts and the Romans, neither of whom are entirely nice, I'm getting game of thrones vibes big_smile.

Hope everyone else is holding up fairly well.

I don't know how the lockdown is going in other parts of the world, but despite the government's sillier assertions (the prime minister even talked about reopening pubs), my lady and I ar still going to carry on with lockdown tactics until at least July, or when we here that there is actually some improvement.
Indeed, the Government are rather in trouble right now, owing to a particularly idiotic cabinet adviser, deciding to utterly ignore the rules about lockdown and drive around the country as he wishes, despite his wife having the virus, so hopefully people will be thinking clearly and not paying too much attention to old Boris's efforts to please all of the people all of the time, which, as we know isn't  exactly an easy task.
