Hi everyone,
A few times I have heard mention of a screen reader called zdsr. All I seem to recall about it is that it's Chinese and that it might? be better than NVDA for some things and has some different voices. I really don't have any solid facts though, and I wasn't able to find it by googling. Today, my curiosity about it was peaked when trying to deal with a program with some accessibility challenges. Does anyone know about zdsr and can tell me a little about it/where to get it?
Thanks.

Pitermach posted about this a while ago. I'll see if I can find the topic.

I am using it now. its wared! hmph..

I am a divine being. I can be called a primordial deity, but that might be pushing it, a smidge. I am the only one of my kind to have ten tails, with others having nine. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I have ascended my own race.

If you use win10 system, it is more suitable to use the commercial version of zdsr.
The more powerful features are
Surveillance, OCR recognition, real-time translation
You can also add comments to elements that have no name. For example, when browsing the web, some buttons or edit boxes do not have names. You can add names to these buttons.
Special support is provided for some third-party software.
E.g. adobe audition3.0.1
reaper
Visual Studio
In addition, word and excel also made special support.

Well I had to use Free download Manager to get the file. It looks interesting. Trying to figure out why some numbers are read in digit format eg. 8 0 instead of eighty. It does this even on Sapi voices. I briefly looked through settings and didn't see anything.

Go to read aloud settings, and then find the number reading, the default is checked, press space to uncheck.
