So I was looking at open stacks SE, and they use Math ML. My issue is that sometimes, instead of reading the numbers, NVDA will just say clickable. I tried going into settings on the webpage and turning things on and off and all I got was a textual representation of the equation. Is there a way to turn into the normal math? I.e, here is how the textual representation would look.
8, comma x, comma, plus, three x start superscript 6 end superscript, plus 5, comma, x, equals, twenty four.
Here is how I want this to look.
8x + 3x^6 + 5x = 24
Anyway to accomplish my goal?
This is literally the only thing stopping me from learning higher math.

did you install the MathPlayer application?

Wait, this is higher math? This just looks like Algebra, the highest thing I see is multiple variables, but it's not like there's multiple types, just multiple of one.
Does it write out all of that, with comma written out and stuff like that?
Is it litterally a graphic, or just text that you can't see. Try going into Document Settings of NVDA and unchecking clickable. Also try using object nav.
Hope this helps.

Galaxy stranger:
A spherical, black coloured ship descends to the surface. A small baby moose wanders up to it. As the moosling is about 10 meters, a red laser shoots out of the ship, punching a hole in the center of the moose. We hear a squeak and a thump as our view fades to black.

@2, I will take a look at this, thank you for the suggestion. From a brief glimpse, it will force me to use the context menu, correct?
@3, this is not higher level Math. I simply wanted to demonstrate an example of what a problem could look like on a webpage. I need to go check again, but I am pretty sure it spells out commas as well. Everything else, though, is 100% guaranteed to be displayed like I wrote it.

Hi Guys,
I have a question here. I have been hearing about this Math ML and was wondering how to get it to work. I have tried using it with NVDA, but for some reason I can't get it to do anything at all. I am currently working with my daughter on a Math unit that involves fractions and, because of the way her curriculum was written, the screen reader simply will not read the fractions in most cases. It, for lack of a better term, spa over them as if they aren't even there. Does anyone know of something that I can try? I don't honestly know who is getting more frustrated here, my daughter or me.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
