are the builds still being updated? had an update in 2021?
yeah, the latest build was yesterday.
and the main version of retroarch, 1.9.0
hasn't updated yet. are these night versions better?
it depends on what you want, features or stability.
Hi.
Does the final fantasy scripts work on windows? If so, how would I set them up?
PCSX2 has now gotten an alpha release on retroarch.
It's much better then Play.
Hi all.
I'm pretty new to this RetroArch thing. Over the years, while having no interest in games, I have tried multiple times and without any big success to make different emulators work. Why? To run all kind of trackers/music sequencers and other sound related thingies for various platforms. It's not hard to find a bunch for say Gameboy, C64 or Amiga.
Fortunately and finally at least one gameboy emulator cooperated with me quite nicely and some simpler proggies started to make noise, but with other platforms still no luck.
And so I bumped into the RetroArch and it's accessibility features, but I can't make the thing behave: audio is stuttering no matter what buffer size I give it, amiga core crashes and with c64 I just probably don't know exactly how to operate it.
So if anybody has had any luck with other stuff besides games, please let me know and feel free to instruct deeply and in a detailed way. Also pointing towards other working emulators in terms of accessibility is welcome.
Thanks in advance and have a nice blast!
Does the lion ocr works in retroarch?
So, if anyone could help with this I'd appreciate it. I used to be able to get retroarch speaking through NVDA directly, no nvdasapi or anything. Now, it's just stuck on sapi and I'm not sure I like that too much because of the horrible lag on pretty much all sapi voices.
is your retroarch 32-bit? NVDA is not supported on the 32-bit version.
My retroarch is 64bit, so I'm not really sure what could be the issue. I don't see an option to change the voice either which I thought was a thing.
no, that's not a thing. Try deleting your retroarch.cfg and set it up again.
If you change the line to true it should fix it. Make sure to run retroarch one time, then close it then the new cfg file will show.
Sadly, that didn't fix it . I may try reinstalling although I'm not even sure that this is a retroarch issue.
Could be NVDA, but it shouldn't be. What version of retroarch are you running? Stable? The latest stable is 1.9.2
i'm not sure if this was said, but the nvda dll's arent actually in retro arch anymore, i had to go get them from gta v 11 y
Hello.
If you guise installed the previous version of retro arch, go to it's folder, copy the nvdaControllerClient64.dll there, and paste it into the new retro arches folder
Hi,
I too had the same problem with retroarch. We just need to put the 32/64 bit file of the NVDA controler cliant. If you want the links for any of the two; they are givern below-
32 bit: https://www.dropbox.com/s/na42bm531lpuj … 2.dll?dl=0
64 bit: https://www.dropbox.com/s/3wr9t1urmate8 … 4.dll?dl=0
HTH
I'll ask the devs why they took it out.
I've searched all over the forum and on various websites for this, and haven't found the answer. Now that I got Pokemon Heart Gold to run and work with the AI Service, I figured I'd try playing again and see how far I could get. However, now I'm running into a problem with Gameshark codes that modify the Pokemon you can find. What I mean is the wild Pokemon modifyer. I'm using the codes listed on this website:
https://www.pokemoncoders.com/pokemon-h … ld-cheats/
Are these accurate? Just to see if it would work, I tried adding the following code:
02247d8c e0021c39
02247d90 00000020
This was supposed to produce Nidoran male, but it either produced Bulbasaur, Charmander, crashed the game when a battle started or it simpley didn't work. By didn't work, I mean it ignored the code and just acted as if nothing was there. I'm using the Desmume 2015 core. Has anyone gotten these to work?
is this accessible on linux now? I found kinda a passion for the ps2 and 1 and such, so would like to not have to use so many separate emulators. I tryed modifying the config file, the accessibility thing wasn't even there on linux. Does anyone know if it's implemented yet?
it has been sence the accessibility happend
I don't know about linux accessibility, but if you want to play ps2. Don't and I repeat Don't use RetroArch.
You get far, far better resolts with the standalone PCSX2
Hi guys! I would like trying some C64 games but I don't know how to start them in the retroarc cores I have; actually I've installed all the various C64 cores but the games simply don'twant to start or they start but then no buttons seem to put me in the game itself. Any suggestions, please? Thx in advance.
