Hello,
Here's an audio game update finally! Not very exciting though

sorry to say...But we hope to have something more exciting soon...Don't

count on it though.
We MMV-Games have changed our name to Quality Audio

Games, or QUAG! Our new website address is: www.quag.co.nr! The old site is

now set to redirect to the new site. So...check it out!

Indeed, how do we know these games are quality when you've never released

a single game? Aren't you thinking rather highly of yourself?

Take care, it's a desert out there.

I agree with stirlock

Hello.
We can call our company whatever we want. Final. If we wanted to

call it Games for Stupid People, we could.

Yes,

but that sets an immage of yourself that says your better than everyone

else. Honestly, I wouldn't have changed your name. Though if it turns out

your game is actually good, I will shut up. But until then, everyone has a

right to express their opinion, and this is mine.

Take care, it's a desert out there.

I agree as well.

If you had made a game, then changed the name of

your site, I couldn't say anything.

i

fully agree. it sounds rather chilish. look at the others. bsc games.

that's a rather cool name. bpc programs. programs! well they don't have

any "programs" but they have "games", but still, really cool idea! but

"quality audio games"? that is rubbish! mmv-games is a much better name than

that. it quality audio games sounds like you don't know anything (no

offense)

Do

you even have a start on the game you are working on, or are you just saying

this stuff?

Myke,
You stated that you have the right to name your company anything you

want. This is true, but if you are focused on sales, then you need to

consider what would be attractive and not place any bias on you. Quality

Audio Games is fine if your games are really quality. If not (and it is

totally up to the buyer's discretion to decide this mind you) then you will

definitely be put down; and it will go from customer to customer stating

that you lie.

We

are not on sales. Our games will be free.

Mike,

Your games are gonna be free? No offense man, but if I were

starting a company, I'd be starting it to make some money. I'd seriously

consider charging for your games though, mate.

Keep

in mind something: "Quality" doesn't necessarily mean "high quality".

That's just the stigma that's been attached to the phrase.
Under the

circumstances, though, I do feel that "Quality Audio Games" is kind of

pretentious.
For the record, a game is a program, so BPC Programs is an apt

title.

I

don't know Holden. We aren't really looking for money we're looking for

something to do because we'd like to make games. I'll think about it

though.

And

I'd change the name of the company. Quality? Everyone's right. It's not

necessarily high quality. But a name with the word quality just doesn't

sound right. You could have the word "quality" in your slogan, site phrase,

or motto, but change the company name. Who's this other guy running the

company with you?

Come on!  Give them a chance.  Play their games and then you can say what

you want.

At least its not a boring name.

2005-09-12 18:34:49

Actually I'm glad that Myke's getting all the feedback he is whether he

likes it or not. For a company just starting out it's good to know what

goes and what doesn't. All this flaming can be easily derived from the term

"constructive criticism" and I hope it is helping him. We're not all

perfect.

2005-09-14 16:06:44

when I

see the word quality, it makes me want to close my browswer.  Quality is a

really poor term.  I'd definetly be interested to see what kind of...

quality games they make.
