update. This is now solved, but leaving it here in case anyone stumbles upon this and has the same issue

whatever happened to karma indicators and other stuff that appeared before the posts? I think right now what shows is your nickname like red potter in my case, and whether someone is online or offline but nothing else.

I don't ever remember seeing karma scores. Granted My memory sucks.
