Hi guys
So today i fownd out from a friend that there is there an old ver of tk with the server program. I’m  wondering is it okay to use it?  Because its an  official version, not from a stolen source code. I think its okay. Please tell me. And please don’t hate on me. I’m just asking that’s all. Thanks. smile

Because Ivan freely released it at one time, I don't think you have to worry much about it. I wouldn't broadcast your server info, but if you just want to fiddle around by yourself, have at it.

I think it might be best to wait for Ivan's thoughts as well, if he sees this topic, just in case.

That version was released officially  before. If he changed his mind, too late. Its out there I guess.

As others have said, this version was officially released by Ivan, so this isn't code theft. However, it's probably not a good idea to publicly make your server open to the entire community, as I know that back when having self-hosted versions of this server were popular for a hot minute, someone was able to make the servers inoperable by using dev commands.

As others have said, it was publicly released so I see no problem with it.

I've been going by Bryn, which is now reflected in my profile. Please do your best to respect this :) Mess ups are totally OK though, I don't mind and totally understand!

Yeah if its that version I don't care but it was buggy. If I do catch wind of someone hosting  a version that wasn't released by me, I will report it. Believe me I will know, don't try to hide it by changing the message strings, I'll figure it out.
