also, the dale armor, the one that costs 10000 coins in the casino of lifelight 2.0, that supposedly provides 500 in both physical and magical defense, doesn't actually work; idk if it's a bug or if it's intentional but it's just an expensive paperweight

@29 That armor does work, it's known as full body armor meaning you have to take everything off and only equip it. Obviously you can still equip a weapon as well, I mean you can't have a second piece of armor if you're using anything that's full body. Here's the description, it doesn't spesify if it's full body in this but it does in the game.

Are you talking about the Heaven and Earth War games or how stats work when programming text games? If you're asking how stats work in Text Game Maker, that's up to the developer. You can change their purpose in d_etc.txt.

hmm, I'll try the armor without a second equipment, in the second game it does specify full body and it doesn't allow you to equip anything else in terms of shields or helmets except for rings; but in the first it doesn't at least with jgt, as for the stats:
strength is for regular weapons
magic is for how powerful your spells will be, but don't neglect raising your magic level by using spells in fights or healing spells or light ball/god ball outside of fights, which is much quicker
quickness is for short swords as well as dodging
dexterity is for bows and guns; also called technology in the second game
physical strength and will are for heavy weapons, such as double soldiers sword or war hammer; these weapons do much more damage than regular ones but they drastically reduce quickness and evasion
luck is for magical weapons such as the crystal rod, blue rod
physical and magical defense are self explanatory
in the second game, leveling up stats is done naturally throughout the progression of the story, and up points are much quicker in raising stats; however in the first game grinding can be quite tedius, fortunately, there are grinding spots, whether intentionally or not

in the description, I think it says that you are weak to a bunch of damage tipes.

there needs to be an option to escape before the fight.
if you press it, you will here sounds and you will need to dodge them.
I don't think you can beet the dragon.

I am shure there is an option to escape.
if you somehow press it, you will here sounds from the left, centre and right.
you will need to find the opposid direction in a menu to dodge them to escape.
keep in mind that the escape option that I am talking about does not show up in a fight.

The only problem, is that I don't have the impression that it changed a lot of things. Here's my equipement. I have the impression that the weapen are good, but not the armors. I equiped moove the platinum swword, and he has in the bag the Death Rubind, I don't know if it's the good name. It is one of the two sword that you obtain after the tests manor. For the first armor I realy don't know what is it in english, in french it is armure de chaîne but I think it is saying nothing to you. It is write also ultimate armor, and you also obtain that after the tests manor. IN second armor, Moove have the platinum shield. For idiusu, I gave him the blue staff, sthe staff that yoiu find on the swim town's shop, but I prefer to use the spells. His first armor is the magic armor and his second's the platinum shield. Finally, for my third character, I equiped to him the war hammer, but I also have in my bag the armot's weapon. In first armor I gave to the third character the magic armor and in second armor the platinum shield. So, what do you recommand to me?
