I woke up earlier and received an email in my inbox, inviting me to check out all new Madden NFL 20 tutorials.
How sorly disappointed I was when I watched the first one.
When you launch the video, you are first told that this tutorial is made possible by the Madden Game Changers. Funny, but it seems like this community gets to see the game before we do? And, I thought that I and all of us were also a part of said community. Guess I was wrong?
Second, the person who does this tutorials clearly is doing them for a sighted audience. He uses terms like players over here, or on your screen, and is not describing what buttons he is pressing.
Everyone, please write to,
[email protected] and say something about this. Putting it here on the forum will do us no good. We can not take this. There is Madden School, and any number of videos for the sighted community, while we're having to learn on our own, and now EA is endorsing videos, not even made by them.
The daily blitzs will still come, and our next set will be on face of the franchise.

So when you next log on your Xbox you should have a invite to the league and a personal message on Xbox as well as a friend request from myself and others.

Hi, folks. Can anyhone point me to a post in this thread where a discussion of working with playbooks is had. When customizing one's playbook, can it be customized to mkae it easier to call a play in game if fewer plays are available? I'm not worried about micro-managing in game, but am really excited about giving this a try. I love the menu narration and message box narration, and will likely purchase a copy once the price for a PC copy comes down a bit. Any guidance would be received with joy and gladness.
What do you mean the message box is narrated? It does not read here. I see message something in the franchise but ti looks like players trash talking like my quarter back trash talking the saints' QB.

Let me start off by saying I hope everyone is doing well!
Today EA released it's october title update, and it does contain something that you should be aware of.
In the league tab, the news item has been moved. Above the news item, is a tile that does not speak. This item is called Superstar x-factor database, and it allows you to see what your compitition has in regards to x-factor players.
Again, this tile does not read, and I believe this to be an oversite.

Upon discussing with several members of my league, at the ned of this week, if people have not played their games, we will be putting your teams in autopilot. This will allow those who are still active to continue playing, and will still keep the rest of you in the league. Previously, if you selected exhibition, and you went to play now, you would land on a grid of items that did not speak.
Now, Menu Narration reports the information, starting with your favorite teams matchup, then custome games, then other games of intrest.
This will change for each week.
Earlier today I was going through the league settings in franchise mode. I saw a few new options that I didn’t see a week ago.
Can someone explain what these are and how to set them to be like the real NFL?

Some of the settings like minum roster size and maximum roster size you can't change until the next season begins.
Also, there are a few options that do not have descriptions attached to them, so honestly I don't have any idea exactly what they do. From what My self and CoziestKolla can tell, they have to do with the amount of players you can cut, and the raidings threashhold you can cut from.
I'll let you knowmore when I find out.

I finally bought the game since it was cheep at Black friday. I'm trying to get used to the basics, and I really hope I'll be able to learn the gameplay.
I've read the guide for Madden 19 made by EA since I can't find any guide for Madden 20, and I have some questions because I find it quite confusing:
My goal is to practice using the Practice mode, until I fully understand how the basics works before I play any matches.
I think I have got the basics about the Kick off mode. However, the menu before the actual practice starts does not speak, so I'm not sure about if I'm missing anything or not. But it sounds like I get the kicking power and the accuracy right.
However, I don't understand how the Offense only mode works. I press A, there is a short vibration and it sounds like they start to run. Then there are some random vibrations which means, if I understand it correctly, that someone is trying to tackle me. The manual says I can press B to spin around and run away from them, or X to dive, but I'm not sure if I do it wrong. No matter what I do, it sounds like someone is crashing. How would I know if I'm doing it correctly?
Then, the manual talks about the following which I have no idea on how to practice in the practice mode:
Defense Ball Carrier Rules
Kickoff Defense
The whole section about playcalls.
All those sections are explained quite well in the manual, but the practice section just refer to the advanced section of the gameplay. I feel I'm missing a lot of stuff in the practice section, and I don't find the manual very helpful regarding the practice section. I just wanna practice as much as possible before I play any matches so I know what I'm doing.
I hope someone can clear up my confusion, tell what I'm missing from the practice mode and tell more about how to practice the mentioned things to make sure I have practiced it all so I feel prepared for the matches.
I'll do my very best to learn the game this time. If I managed to learn how to play Madden 20, then I'll join the online gameplay for sure.
