I had to reformat my RCA tablet. It has a 32gb EMMC drive which is sort of like an ssd. before the reformat, windows took up about 7.6 or so gb on the drive. after doing a clean install and reinstalling all drivers, windows took up about 15gb, after running, as administrator the command: compact.exe /compactos:always ... I got about 1.5 or so gigs of storeage back. But I think if I could make an unattend.xml file and make windows 10 compact itself during installation, and also take the drivers i have and somehow slipstream them into the bootable USB flash drive? does anyone know how to do this? If so can you explain on here? Here are the specs of my tablet.

Its called NTLite. Go buy it and use it to modify your ISO image and remove what you don't need. And read and understand the warnings it gives you -- and be careful, because you can make your ISO unbootable!

I'm curious, how does windows handle full os updates after using something like NTLite? Do you have to manually recreate the iso for each windows 10 upgrade? As for your increased drive usage, this might actually be due to the may 2019 update, it reserves 7.5 gb of your hard disk for os updates. It can be used for temporary files as well. Windows should automatically pick the right compacting method while installing, you should not have to modify anything yourself. Get an sd card and install your programs on that. You should not use NTLite unless you really, really enjoy tweaking things and then, if something breaks, figure out what component to reenable.
