OMG this is in my home city! Unfortunately I don't think I can make it, but still. That's nuts.
Pity they weren't coming to Vancouver. I'd be all over it!
HI!
I wasn't as convinced as you seem to be by the beta, but I'm still looking forward to try the full version. I know that the storyline and the audio atmosphere were in a early beta stage, closer from an alpha, as was the gameplay itself, so I'm sure things have improved a lot.
Can't wait!
Best regard,
Simon
I was far from convinced by the beta which is why I would be all ver a playtest if they came here.
will there be a stand alone version that i don't have to get steam to buy this? The trailer sounds fucking mazing actually I'm impressed as i don't play a lot of audio games.
Sounds nice. Waiting for it. I did see the demo but unfortunately couldn't get it. It was nice. The audio atmosphere was also great!
If someone could please post the beta again, that would be great. I lost my copy of the thing and want to play it again to decide how I feel about it before deciding to buy later.
Well the beta came out last year. To me it was very Blind Legend-like. Hopefully the full game is more interesting in terms of game play than the beta was.
i'd agree with 35. Hope there'd be more skills than in a blind legend, different combat, 2 vs 2 fights, like you and shepherd vs 2 robbers/guards/what ever people/animals.
Any news regarding this game? Is it coming out this month?
We'll be checking in more frequently to answer your questions, reveal more about the game, and get everyone pumped.
Yet the last post was on May 23rd...
I'm not hating, just a little confused.
Some friends saw the game is now available to be added to wishlists on Steam, with a seemingly more updated description with even an approximative size (2 GB) included and the date said to be August 2019; so unless that was posted there a while ago then the game is soon to be released, knowing August is one week away from its end.
I'm also really waiting for this game.
Think ther's no reason to worry, just cause it's already in the steam store and planned release date set to august 2019.
Ther's no exact date like august 30, or august 20, just august of 2019.
Still, maybe they're planning to release the vale on 31 of august, or maybe on 25th of august? if there would be delays, i think they won't delay it by too much.
Just wait. Have some patience, y'know.
I don't know, I hope this game has a demo ro something.
The beta version I played, wasn't anything too impressive, so I'm a bit reserved about my expectations of the game.
Will it only be available via steam?
As far as I know it will hit Steam only. I tested it too and I feel exactly the same.
I can't wait for this game. I loved the beta version that was out earlier this year.
I hope they reworked the whole thing. The story was just another one around blind hero, combat system like We know from A blind legend where it worked as it was the first game like that, the world seems to be totally closed and small so the game was linear. Games like Infinity blade should learn everyone how to make deep combat with just reaction system, nice RPG elements with huge equimpemnt to choose from.
Well, We'll just see what will happen but I am sceptical about that.
it looked like it was going to become more open by the end of the beta. I don't mind the story. It's actually some what believable. I really enjoyed how in a couple scenes you could take different paths.
For a niche product without much funding or market potential, it's pretty great. Don't compare it to games with massive budgets, huge teams of industry professionals, and years of planning and development time, it's just not fair or useful.
That said I'm not looking forward to dealing with Steam to play it (but I'm sure I would have had to eventually anyway) and I'm not very confident that any non vital bugs will be fixed based on the radio silence so far from the developers. I hope I'm proven wrong though...
As long as the game isn't overly expensive, I'll be happy to play it even as it was headed, but I still don't really appreciate how we were asked to give feedback, then very politely told no on almost every single thing we brought up, though to be fair some people were expecting way too much. But it still felt as if the path for this game was already predetermined before hand, and our input wouldn't have mattered anyway.
I'm looking forward to it just like Liam though! Even if just for the sounds and voice acting if the gameplay doesn't turn out to be all that good.
@47, i assure you your expecting too much from them. They don't have much budget on there hands, and they said that the game won't be open world.
I'm totally fine with that, and i'll support them. @liam i loved the beta, too.
