Ok, I have decided to try mega, however, the download is not available yet. I have a question. I noticed an error with achievements, and I am smoothing macro code to work better. Should I release the already complete 9.5, or finish updating the macro code and release 9.75? The 4 things that would be fixed are:

aliases in require were listed before the achievement began
Extra comma when pasting aliases and macros issue would be fixed.
Two new options that were already complete that I was too lazy to add into version 9 release.
A bug since version 5, where the current macro is always assigned to the macro in progress, so this means if you set a macro as current, and started making a new macro, it would overlap the 2 strings together.

I haven't proven that last issue is something that actually happens, but they both use the same variable, so to make sure it won't happen for sure, the current macro will be a different string than the macro in progress.

What do you think? Release already complete 9.5, or spend another day or 2 making these mostly small changes for version 9.75 instead of waiting til version 10?

I have noticed several errors with macros, about 6 of them. But most of them are automatically corrected every time you return to the level screen. Anyway, I have fixed them just to make sure they will not cause any problems. I should release a new update for the safety of the macro errors. I am also going to remove a huge, and I mean, huge, amount of unnecessary code. By next week this update should be out, if I don't have a bunch of college work to do.

Hello! I think you have to be a member to download with mega. I find mega really annoying. It's very difficult to download a file from Mega.

@56 I have heard you don’t need an account to download from mega. As for release, 9.75 is almost done. I also removed some of the version 10 code to reduce file size even more. I was lazy this weekend, but I will finish testing this week.

Hi everyone. I have done more work, and have finished 9.75. I will release it when I add the change log and edit anything in the manual that needs editing. Dropbox works again, but I want to provide more than one link. So I will provide a dropbox link, along with a mega link. Alternatively if you would like a copy sent to you via skype or another communication method let me know and I will do that. I will either release later tonight or tomorrow. Most likely tonight. I am excited to release this version! Especially since the last one did not get released lol

Hello everyone. Level creator 9.75 is released!

Since version 9.5 was not released, I will cover the basics of each change log in this post. Also, even though the manual says minor change log, it is actually major because of the missed 9.5 update.

9.5:
Added a note to describe how to use debug and seek in rhythm rage because they will mess up your script if not done correctly, like previous versions of the creator did.
Fixed a bug where the play sound was not written into the level file.
remade the way containers are recognized, so the 3 container list files are no longer necessary.
Added a second way to recognize containers. This does not add or subtract any features.
Changed first letter of each container file, so you have to make the first letter in each file lowercase to use your container files.
Added a lot of new options.
Achievements support aliases and auto macro mode.
fixed a bunch of errors when switching levels.
New playback system! This one is smart!
Playback will play in the correct sequence, and will update in real time.
Playback will update more often than the last system, with less effort.
Added alias playback, so if actions have aliases the alias sound will play along with the normal sound.
Made a playback updater tool to convert all your playback files to the new format automatically. You're welcome!
Of course, this new format doesn't know which actions have aliases, so you will have to modify the file if you want to add alias playback to previous actions.

9.75
Removed all the version 10 code to reduce the file size.
Fixed extra comma issue! It's gone! Completely.
Fixed aliases being listed on the line before the achievement.
fixed several sneaky errors with making macros, that you don't notice because the macro list is compiled very often.
added 2 new options in the options panel.
Recoded aliases and macros. To simplify code and add more functionality!
Pressing tab when making an achievement now lists the aliases in a viewer instead of just speaking the whole list.
Pressing tab in the macros viewer shows the list of aliases in the building macro, the macro currently in progress.

That was a huge change log! And that was only the basics. You can read the full change log in the manual. Here is version 9.75!

Zarvox, have you tested the level creator yourself trying to make a level and play it? Because when i try to play my level in rr, i get the same error. I suppose i'm doing something wrong here. Also i noticed when i add a sound for the start hold action attribute, it won't play when i press enter in the listening mode and when i press slash, it says assigned, but it still doesn't play. I'm pretty sure i'm doing something wrong, but what?

Oh, i propably know what the problem is. It's that the game directly starts playing the level music without the intro. How can i fix that or do you have to fix it.

If you clear your level, your file info data like music name and jingle get erased. Have you filled in your sound names for name, fail, ends, and so on? Any empty sound fields cause an error. I did make a level and test it, no errors for me, and enter sound worked fine

Zarvox, i think the creator is just useless at the moment at least for me. I filled in the file names, but when i launch rr, choose my level and then choose play, i get the same index out of bounds error. What am i doing wrong? Please help me. I looked up to my code, and i think it's correct. But rr doesn't like it. So, here's my code for the level: oh, i also ran the creator.exe file inside my pack.

the first play and action lines are wrong. Play space name, not play underscore name. Same for action.

You didn't fill in the fail= sound on your actions.

the action fail is already a sound you can assign. You either didn't add sounds to the fail attribute or you didn't assign the sounds you added. No the tutorial creator has not been edited. I don't plan to update it for a very long time, it is just a side project that I threw together.
