October 27, 2022: Skybear has received a warning in the "Window Eyes" thread for topic resurrection and needlessly spamming with an unreasonable number of posts in a row.

November 29, 2022: Theclassicgirl621 has been banned for being another alt of Ttslover0987814.

December 27, 2022: felix_weber warned for insulting another user's intelligence. Ninety-day ban put in place, since this makes three warnings in under ninety days.

Zarvox has also been issued a warning in the same thread for referring to Felix as stupid. Personal attacks are just generally not a good idea.

January 6, 2023: Nuno has been given a warning for a form of character assassination in the "Something Fishy about CSR" topic. This is not an isolated incident, and Nuno receives the warning because of the repeated nature of this behaviour.
To be clear here, nobody is completely free of snark or insinuation, and we all sometimes say stuff that we later retract or have cause to be sorry for. But when one has such a track record of defense of an ideal, people or concept that their defenses of same result in attacks on other people - often unjustified - this is problematic behaviour that needs to stop.

February 7, 2023: Jonnyboy1991 and Dgleks have both been issued warnings, the former for repeatedly antagonizing staff and the latter for clapping back with a statement that appeared to be a direct criticism of Jonnyboy's spelling and grammar, which would fall under personal attacks.

February 13, 2023: Sneak has been issued a warning, and his account has been restricted from posting, pending further deliberation from the staff team. This unprecedented step was taken because this user proved, with multiple targeted and repetitive posts about Mist World, that he was not willing or able to let the subject go, when asked both by the community at large and by me in my official staff capacity. This will be updated if and when further action is decided upona.

Update as of February 14: Sneak has received a ninety-day ban, which will be followed by a ninety-day watch period. Agreed upon by unanimous vote of the staff team.

Please, folks, if a staff member gives an official caution, there's always a good reason for it. You may ask about it if you're unclear, but doubling down and doing much more of the thing that earned you the caution in the first place will not end well. Sneak pushed his luck, and I have responded to stop him, temporarily at least, from spreading further forum toxicity.

Moderation:
Kiri has received a warning in Jonikster's "my immigration from Ukraine" topic, because it contains not only personal attacks but Jonikster's presumed first name.

Warning us about a problematic user or their behaviour is absolutely okay. Personally attacking or name-dropping them is not.

March 16, 2023: Giovani has received a warning for trying to stir up anti-Chinese sentiment about Mist World being a security risk, without presenting a shred of proof. His placing this topic in site and forum feedback, as well as his suggestion that it's as bad as TikTok without proof, combined with his suggestion that we should take him seriously and consider withdrawing support, all combine to paint a pretty needlessly fearmongering attitude. The game has many, many problems, for which much evidence has already been provided, but security vulnerability does not appear to be one of them. We encourage anyone with hard data about security threats related to this or any product to bring them to the attention of the staff team, providing all relevant documentation of the problem in so doing.

April 18, 2023: Skybear has received another warning for yet again pushing the Window Eyes issue, even after being told that community failure might be in play. Evidently this wasn't enough, so Skybear has now lost the ability to post on the forum until such time that we can come to a consensus.

May 30, 2023: Solus has received a double warning (two warnings) for insinuating that someone's transgender journey is just a phase. In case it wasn't abundantly clear, this sort of toxic behavior is not (and will never be) acceptable.

June 24, 2023: JaceK has been given a warning for personally attacking another user.

July 13, 2023: Krisz has been permanently banned for being an alt of Lakatos.
