I can not boot the game. It just does somthing with a progress bar. Then shut itself down.

Hey guys.
I tried getting the English version from somebody that had it, and upon launching it, no introductory music played, no menu options appeared, in fact, nothing happened at all. I tried installing it using the latest version of the setup, and what I would get when launching the game is a weird chinese voice talking very quickly. I tried pressing the right arrow multiple times, but pressing the up arrow to select the option of English (at least I hope that was the last option in there) did nothing to help. What can I do to get this working? Any help would be welcome.

ok so I've managed to run the game successfully, this time the game is downloading some neded files in order to run.
my question is, how do I set the game language in to english? also does this game auto detect a running screen reader or do we have to set it up first?
going in to the wilds, collecting pokedex, and capturing them are my kind of thing,

Okay guys. I tried to launch the game, and when the update installed successfully, it started to move things into the console, but in the middle, it's like this unity thing opened with a couple of beeps from NVDA, and then the whole thing closed.
Is there any advice that anyone could give?
