Hi. I downloaded the bgt repository by carter, it also contained the transltr. I wanted to use it in an utility set i am working on. But the transltr.php don't seams to work any where, it first takes ages and then returns nothing. Is there a way to get this to work, it would be really cool. Thanks a lot, simter.
Maybe 2 or 1 year ago i asked the script creator about this situation.
Api used in this translator has been closed.
It might be possible to make it work using this php library. Whoever is programming, all you need to do is adjust accordingly.
I am the creator of this script, since some of the people were asked about a translation script, i've made that.
First, this script was for a website called transltr.org which was closed and it doesn't work.
second, if you want to use a translation script for a language which is unicode (like Persian which is my native language), bgt can't do it, unless you set Persian as the default language in region and language.
wait so bgt only supports the english ⠎⠉⠗⠊⠏⠞⠦
bgt can not work with unicode? Hmm ok, new to me though. Any ways, i may try this google translater thing.

@5, Yep, it doesn't work, if you try to print Unicode in BGT it prints out Mojibake, which is basically a jumble of nonsensical characters caused by trying to decode text, particularly Japanese, with the wrong encoding. Example: ‚±‚̃oƒbƒ`ƒtƒ@ƒCƒ‹‚ÌŽg‚¢•û‚̓oƒbƒ`ƒtƒ@ƒCƒ‹‚ɂ‚¢‚Ä.txt‚É‘‚¢‚Ä‚ ‚è‚Ü. You can try it for yourself with this code sample, I'd paste it in directly but the forum itself seems to reject it. https://www.dropbox.com/s/jfiepjo2mbmso … n.bgt?dl=1. If you opened the BGT file directly, you'd see that they were emojis, but if you just ran the script you wouldn't see them, only seeing Mojibake because BGT doesn't seem to be Unicode aware.
a ok, works with german letters such as ö, ä or ü though
so what is the point of writing this kind of thing in bgt, like come on, from the first minut you no that you are going to have more problems than results. b g t was never invented, to run every day programs, it was made for games. people all way's seam to not remember that fackt.
lets look at the letters b, g, t. blast bay game tool kit. did you here the word game?. good.
if you want to make that kind of program just go and learn something like pithon, there are hundred's of online books and resources.
since people wanted something like the translator for stw, i implemented that for them.
this is the whole reason behind it.
