Well, as I'm excited about the release too, I thought I'd have a runthrough of the current 1.3 version.
I got a score of around 400 or so, I don't remember my exact score. Will edit this post on my next runthrough and add the next score to the bottom.

Before I ask, let's just say that I'm excited to. Of course that's not superlyam II, or even more, jugment day II, but if there's such replayibility, that's perfect to me.
My question is : in the demo you provided, I don't hear any massive difference. Is it because the development of the v2 wasn't really engaged, or because those are only minor changes?
Just asking to know if I need to be waiting for something huge or if, except for the achievments, the game is still pretty similar to the old version.

Indeed, I definitely think based on the audio demo that 2.0 is greatly improved already, was giving 1.3 a shot to strategize a bit. Of course I've tried to mess around on a playthrough where instead of collecting as many toys as possible, I purposefully waited for as many elves and let them chace me round the map for as long as possible and my gosh when you've got five of them on your tail, it's quite exciting to see if you can survive a while. I once had an elf on the left and two on my right and had to end up weaving through them, only to get trapped near the corner of the map, tried to continue walking, and... bonk!

The game came on my birthday? Wow!

i tried to download from the l-works websight, i uninstalled my old version of the game, installed the new one, opened it up and the old game launched.
it was the old music at the menu, i could only go in four directions and i didn't get any achievements, what do i do

well, i clicked download the great toy robery 2.0 from our primary server, it downloaded the setup, i opened heard the auditory prompts and boom, it was setup then i ran it, and the old one came on

I can't currently get the latest update patch that fixes the error (but I was able to get the initial v2 release), but guess what's happening? AVG's web shield blocks the new patch there's no way to add exceptions with web shield which is really rubbish. I managed to get version 2 itself running by installing it to a different directory other than program files, because each time I tried the default directory the absolutely nuts AVG just blocked it as quickly as Evil Santa.
I've submitted the tgtr exe file to AVG as a false positive, and if they verify that, I will then submit the download URL. In the meantime I won't be able to get the miner patch, and even if that's verified I might have to re-verify the miner patch's exe file anyway. Can't believe this is happening again, it's not happened for ages.

Seriously, python? I thaught this was a bgt only issue. AaaaAa.

it installed no problem for me. I also managed to get like 26 achievements so far, and have no idea how to get most of the rest. lol

There is an achievement that uses it, but it's purposely vague because I enjoy making people try to figure things out.
