Hi everyone,
can someone explain to me, with an example if posible, the changes if i turn on hardcore accessibility mode?
i know it unlocks the minigames, and things that are difficult for us to do. but i only completed episode 0 back in 2016, now, i bought the full season but i don't have time to play just yet. in ep 0, is there a difference if i turn hardcore mode on?
thanks in advance.

Hi @mr.brunete
If you turn the blind hardcore mode on, some things gets nearly imposible to do, since you need to react fast, and some times do things, with very little information.
It can be done, but it's not avied.
Think of it, like kinda an accessibility testing mode.

In episode 0, you would have to do all man in the middle attacks, the robot escape game and the soli bossfight. I found it very much impossible in hardcore mode, so I switched back to normal accessibility mode.

We are pleased, that you made it through the final challenge, where we pretended we were going to murder you. We are throwing a party in honor of your tremendous success. Place the device on the ground, then lay on your stomach with your arms at your sides. A party associate will arrive shortly to collect you for your party. Assume the party submission position or you will miss the party.

Hi!
I think I'm experiencing some strange bug in the end of episode III! Be ware! Spoilers ahead!
I'm trying to escape EIU's facility. I have some kind of timer apparently slowed down. The only function available to me is the hability to deactivate walls by... what? controlling reality? Nothing in the storyline seems to justify this but anyway. This is the only thing I can do, but it gets me spotted, no mather when in the timer I perform the action.
Is that supposed to happen this way?

Best regard,
Simon

Spoilers for the end of EP 3.
--------------------
@Arkandias yes, that is indeed supposed to happen. As for why ... I'm sure you'll figure it out.
Do you remember the gates from EP 1? Just like then, you obviously want your friends to escape, but you don't want their enemies to follow them.
If that's not obvious enough, here's the solution:
Deactivate the wall. Wait for a few seconds, then reactivate it.

Oh! I didn't even try. I was sure that there was nothing I could do while a character was moving smile

Thanks!

Hi.
I'm one of the people who backed the game on Kickstarter. But I never really get started with the game after episode 1 got released. I'm not sure on why.
I have started playing the game again, and I'm really liking it so much. It is fantastic, and it has been improved a lot since I played one of the first versions of the game.
I'm playing on my Mac, and I'm running into a few issues:
1. Activating the blind mode for the first time was really paine in the ass. I installed the Karen TTS because I heard it should work best with the game, but when pressing ctrl v, the speech didn't got activated. I got some help from a friend of mine who also had issues on getting the game to work on his Mac. He instruct me how to get to the edit box, where I could type in the name of the tts voice I wanna use, and it works. I really hope this issue get fixed in the future, because that might turn some people away from the game, if they can't even get the speech working because of that.
2. I experience a lot of speech crashes. Quite often, the speech simply crashes, and I have to restart the game to get the speech back. Any clue on what to do about this issue?
3. When backing out of menus with the backspace key, I experience a lot of times that I have to press the backspace key a lot of times before the game reacts. This makes the navigating quite frustrating. Anyone else who are experiencing this?
Otherwise, I really love the game. I'm currently in episode 1, and I really like the story and all the challenges.

Best regards SLJ.

Because of the Summer Sale, the game's currently 50 % off on Steam! This's a wonderful oppertunity to recommend it to people who you think might be interested. It's an awesome game and needs all the support it can get.
This probably won't be as relevant to other blind people, since Steam's a pain to use with a screen reader. Not impossible, though. Some of us have managed it.

Gonna necro this since I bought Code  the other day.

Now....how do I adjust the voice speech rate in the game? I did send an emial to the devs, I think it was the right address but....how do I adjust it? I've set the speech rate in control panel to 85 but it defaults goes back to 50 when I launch C7. Ideas? I'm running into speech cutting into dialog and such here nd not letting me do the time critical events, e.g. Zoeya in the security office, or other things.

So....there a fix? Running the latest everything on my laptop, latest W10, latest C7

If in doubt, chocolate and coffee. Enough said.

Okay, anyone got contact info for the devs since I was looking to check something and I think i ran into a (for me) game breaking bug/me being an idiot.

So, I'm putting together the card, and I can't get the signature. I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing works. If I tell Zoeya to inspect the scanner she says I should be able to download the signature. Yet....I've been all over the area and haven't found anything to get that signature from the scanner.

Anyone got any ideas, since I'm unsure if I ran into a bug, or walked right past the computer or whatever that gives me the thing to get the signature? I'm a little puzzled right now since on PG's stream they used an anlyzer, which I don't have despite checking, am I missing something insanely obvious, or....?

If in doubt, chocolate and coffee. Enough said.

I saw this game recently and it says you need 6 GB ram to play it on Steam.  Sadly I only have 4 so will have to pass on it, but sounds interesting!

So...having just beat Ep 1.....

Holy. Shit. That was an awesome episode, it took the devs fixing my save file to beat it, but all in all, holy, fucking, shit. Major, MAJOR props to the devs for putting together an awesome story, I loved it from start to end. And....that ending.

Colburn was right about Zoiya all along, which makes me wonder what else he was right about. Also, given Colburn said he only saw Lilly for 30 minutes (under IHs no less), that leads me to think IHS makes people into brainless murderers, Colburn was certainly unhinged before he died. But, I don't think Colburn killed Fuso, because it could have been any of the other IHS volunteers under Colburn's orders, as seen in the end with the transmitter.

On that note, Zoiya didn't release anyone from the IHS, so she left that station to kill itself. Ouch.

If in doubt, chocolate and coffee. Enough said.

Also @Crystal-D:

It is well, WELL worth the price. I was skeptical for paying $25 for it but I am enjoying every moment of it so far, just got onto EP 2. It is....absolutely an incredibly well put together game, and it is absolutely amazing in terms of atmosphere. I felt my skin crawl during the camera puzzle with how Zoiya was describing things. Actually the whole second half of Ep 1 had me creeped the fuck out, it's THAT good

If in doubt, chocolate and coffee. Enough said.

@515 I'd like to try it out but when I looked at the Steam specs it said you need 6 GB of RAM and I only have 4.  Unless that's something I can try and tweak to play it on my computer, gotta wait until I get 1 with better specs to play this one.

Well. @CrystalD, you gotta remember, that when steam list minimum requirements, they aren't counting on, that you wont use the graphics, so if you're totally blind, and don't need the graphics at all, you should be able to play it on the lowest setting posible with only 4gb of ram.

So...um...yeah.

I'm a bit lost on the Muffin puzzles. Beginner Movement II has me stumped. I can get Muffin to the pit, okay, but...how do I make him go down the pit.

My script is simply goforward a bunch of times till he gets to the pit then nada. Am I just not thinking about this. I decided to twry writing an if/while loop. It....wouldn't let me @[email protected]

So...yeahhhhhh
Also laughing at getting a VM up to game on. See, the Linux version won't natively support VI mode? I'll just spin up a W10 64bit VM. 8 cores. 8GB RAM. Works fiine for me.

If in doubt, chocolate and coffee. Enough said.

I've been playing around with this and love the concept, but the map viewer seems to be broken and is behaving very oddly. I have to spam the arrow keys many times to get it to move even one time. Sometimes it will move off of a square, them jump back on it. I have to jam on the arrow key to get it to move even one square, let alone explore a complicated maze, of which there seem to be many. I really don't want to have to turn off all content, but i may have to because of this horrible bug. No response in the discord so far. Really hope there's a fix for this.

I'm playing this for YouTube and am having trouble with the room pressure puzzle in episode 0. How do I solve this? I can get the values to match at 40, but they're always 0.15 or so apart. What's the trick? I've tried entering 0.001, 0.0015, -0.0015, etc, but nothing helps. I can't figure out the logic it's using to calculate which is extremely frustrating.

A difference of 0.15 should be alright, I believe. That should unlock the door.
