Hi, I don't think there are that many free games for the blind. Is that true, or can somebody prove me wrong? The description "free games" can include any game so long as it is free and accessible to the blind.

There are some free games on bscgames.com. PCSGames (pcsgames.net), some free material.

Draconis Entertainment and GMA (draconisentertainment and gmagames.com), some free material on there. Some of it is pay, though.

Sound RTS, Top Speed 2, audio quake, technoshock, final conflict, muds... possibly more free games than paid for.

There is no spam on any of these sites. stupid word filters!

Yeah, that happens when you mention a certain card game most often as well as other things. If it's something fairly ridiculous to be filtering please spell it out and I'll see what I can do about it, I can access the censorship list.

Cx2, the words:
F, r, e, e, space, s, t, u, f, f, come out as spam. Try it.
free stuff

Spam. That should be changed.

Hmm, I'm sure that must have been put in for a reason. I'll see what I can do though, hopefully Richard and Sander won't mind.

Okay now we should be able to talk about free stuff without the filter interfering.

Yeah, all the free games you've mentioned... And that doesn't even touch upon interactive fiction, also known as text adventures. Those have been around since the late 70's, and since they're pretty much all text, they're accessible. In case anyone doesn't know, there's a pretty good sized group of hobbiests writing their own text adventures, since their commercial days are long gone.

Not to mention browser games like Sryth or Legend of the Green Dragon, to name but two of the more popular ones.

Until hell freezes over we won't be running out of games. ;-)

In the hands of a gamer, word becomes weapon, argument becomes shield, and life becomes a quest.
