AudioGamers, especially Niklas,

Nicklas had some keyboard keys and he didn't know what they did.
This interfered with his gaming and he mentioned it here awhile ago.

I have oodles of "spare parts" of code from our computer games.
So I went a bit nutz and built DarkKeyboard (hello, Dark!)

DarkKeyboard is a program that speaks each key to you as you press that key.

DarkKeyboard intercepts your keystrokes so that they do absolutely nothing except speak to you.

I must ask the necessary question: if it interrupts all keystrokes, how do you close it?

Jayde,

The program traps the Escape key and uses that to know when to exit.
The Escape key never gets out of the program.

It'll be interesting to see how DarkKeyboard works on non-English keyboards.
The one I was pounding in Paris last month had a much different layout.
