I have done that, and it has been confirmed. I can get permission to take off just fine, but I can not ask for permission to take any passengers by pressing ctrl w.

Okay, I feel so stupid. The speech I'm using read the ground and air freequenxy so fast so I missed the right numbers. I have figured it out. Thanks for your help, and I'm sorry for the confusion.

Hi.
So, this waiting and waiting to get permission to take off is driving me nuts. Here is an example:
I'm trying to complete task 1.1. When I ask for permission to take off after I have bored the passengers, I constantly get told that the runways are in use.
1. I have waited for more than one hour with the same result.
2. I have restarted the task more than three times.
I have spend like two hours on this today without making any progress at all. Is the game ment to work like this? Am I just too impatient? I feel this is waist of time to wait an hour for take off, and you still don't get the permission. I hope to get any tips on how to solve this. Otherwise, I have other games to spend my time on.

I guess you've passed the time when you were scheduled to take off. Try setting your destination when you are in the parking position, so that way you can be sure you won't miss your allocated time again

Thanks for your reply. So, is the game ment to give you permission right when you are at the parking persition, and not after you have bored the passengers? I have noticed if you keep that permission for too long without taking off, then you get the "all runways are in use" message again. Is the permission scheduled randomly, or how does that work?

Hey I'm pritty sure you can't take passengers, in task 1.1. That could be the issue. Press control shift A to check but I'm like 99% sure you can't.

to take passangers in 1-1, just open your doors and press ctrl+w to boord pasangers if i am not mistaken

The take off interval is given to you after you set the destination. Press tab to navigate to the timetable panel and there you'll see a list with different flights times, and you should find your flight as well

Thanks a lot for your reply. I didn't know about pressing the tab key.
It helped after I checked at what time I had to take off. I wasn't aware about this detail from the quick start guide. Again, thank you very much.
Edit:
Okay, I spoke too soon.
I got permission to take off once, but made a mistake and crashed. I have tried three times afterwards, and constantly asking for permission to take off around the time I was scheduled to. But, I don't get permission to take off anymore, not even five minutes after I should have taken off.
I really don't get what I'm doing wrong.

Have you already tried to disable the "Fly according to the timetable"-Option? It can be found in the games Options on the flight tab. This should make things much easier when you try to get your take-off permission.

These are test flights, you're supposed to fly without any passengers.

that's the thing I didn't board any passengers and i still get that on my task log. i didn't get any passengers. so i'm confused.

Press ctrl+f4, then enter.
This should reset the task.
Now try again without boarding the passengers ofcourse.
If this doesn't help you, then maybe try deleting your profile. If this doesn't help as well, then I'm sure something's messed up in your PC.

so I can't get past task 3.2. It keeps telling me I flew over ukrainian airspace. Any ideas? I have done it twice being sure not to fly through there.

Probably, when you were close to the border and you tried turning back to the destination course, you did this too fast and you were in the Ukrainian airspace for for example a quarter of a second or so.
Remember, when ever you do something you're not allowed to do, you need to reset the task by first selecting tasks from the main menu and pressing ctrl+f4, then enter to confirm.

Your best option is to plan a flight rute that doesn't pass accross Ukraine at all. For instance, if your destination is madrid spane, and you cannot fly through Ukrainian airspace, look for a flight path that will avoid Ukraine entirely. Granted this will add time to your flight, but its your best option.

Yeah.
It is good to plann It, but also It is very good to look on this travel in map view and also to know something from geography.
Althought, there were situations, which I didn't know something, but mostly I use to plann one road with map view.
