I guess the save file can get corrupted sometimes, so it is a good idea to back it up before starting the new version, and if it indeed loads fine you can delete the backup. However, perhaps Pragma or someone else working on the game can recover it. In the meantime, if you have the old version can you try to run it and see if this same save file works there? I didn't have issues loading my file, however I know it happened in the past. In any case I hope you sort it out since it's definitely not nice.

@dark: have you also tried copying your save.bin file as well? There should be a .dat and a .bin file. Not sure if this will fix your issue, but just a suggestion.

I'd like the ability to disable the wall tones under the options menu. My server is now running the newest version, so beta 69 is the only one that can connect.

So for whatever reason Windows Defender is flagging it as having unwanted software, even though I click run anyway. I try to find the virus and threat protection in Windows Security, but that option doesn't even show up. Is there another way to make this work?

Make an excluded location such as a folder and extract the game there. This should avoid the issues with Windows Defender.

Is this version really buggy? I was playing a battle of 19,217 HP with 2 other people and we kept targeting the wrong person. For example, hitting enter on a name selects the other target instead, or hits the user that tried to attack. My friend tried hitting me with something and ended up killing himself instead.

I have another bug to report. It appears that the mini game scores are not working properly. It seems to report the scores differently than they are. For example, I get 14 on a mini game, and instead it will tell me I got 10 when the actual mini game finishes. It also reports crazy numbers like 100 million points when it's not even possible to score that much. Seems like the server has some issues in this beta. Pressing c does report the total score correctly, but pressing c is problematic especially when there are a lot of people in the party

That's the thing. I can't seem to qeate an exclusion, as the way that I have seemed outlined requires the virus and threat protection settings to create an exclusion, but there's only 6 options, not including the one that I need. I could be missing something, but I think something may be wrong with my PC.

Hi guys. Pragma knows about the battle bugs, so if you want to play a battle for now do it on beta 68. A patch is expected soon to fix the battle bug and possible other issues encountered.

I didn't notice the virus thing on the pc; my mac's antyvirus program though, picked it up; does this game have a legit virus, or its just the antyvirus softwares flagging it by mistake?

this game runs on BGT I believe and programs written that way often get flagged as viruses. The game is completely safe.

I would like to see a slightly longer grace period in Read the Die. Alternatively, it could at least punish you for getting wrong answers. As it stands, you can just spam the numbers 1 through 6 to your heart's content and get 20, no problem. If you try to do it the way it's intended to be played, however, it's practically impossible because you're not given any time to think it through.

Probably tomorrow. I'm kind of confused as to why this bug appeared when not too much was actually changed in the battle system, but I guess it's all underlying infrastructure. Why this was not discovered before release is a little beyond me though.

The virus scan thing is a real shame to be perfectly honest. Given how many languages the game is now translated to and the relative simplicity of many minigames, I think this game could be really excellent for blind schools and the like. The false positive virus alert would throw a lot of people off I imagine. Sure, I doubt any of us care personally, but it's definitely putting me off from telling more people here about it because for some of them I would have to go to pretty big lengths to convince them there are actually no viruses. Plus, the inaccessibility of most virus scanners nowadays is highly depressing.

Of course, some people would be able to fix that themselves, but those are also the people who I probably don't need to tell them about the game since they're more than capable of discovering it on their own.

This also puts me off from translating the game, Aside from the fact that I have no clue how to translate most of the battle cards. The people who can discover the game for themselves are probably also going to be able to play it in English, while the others will likely run into the virus scanner issue I or someone else would have to probably solve for them.

The only way I seem to be able to beat the rock paper scissors game is to write down how many of each card my opponent has, and to update it whenever he plays something. That's kind of depressing, to be honest.

I really don't like the new wall sensor. I wish there was a way to disable it. I don't see the point of it either there already is a wall sound...
