So this update is mostly little changes but now includes a number of things I think people will enjoy, two new races 'Underlings and Anteaters' a new difficulty for people finding the game too hard at the start, some new blackmarket changes such as bandit horde support, new throne room meeting questions and an some changes in the blackrow tavern and finally credit to my good friend Glen Mack a tutorial at the start of the game that can be re-initiated in the throne room as long as you have a diplomat.

**NEW FEATURES**

* Added new race 'Underlings'
* Added new game difficulty (casual) super easy
* Added 1 in 3 chance loyal to phenor blackmarket ruler will send between 10-50 troops to phenor's horde
* Added extra blackmarket menu in throne room meetings (with 5 questions you can ask each with dynamic answers)
* Added introductory tutorial with Old Croll (Credit entirely to Glen Mack)
* Added Anteater creatures to the game

It's strange I couldn't download the latest update, keeps telling me that the game was updated 7 days ago. Am I doing something wrong or is the latest version still not up?

Hello.
Yes I do, and sorry for not editing my previous post, I was able to see and download the update this morning, keep it up. By the way I'm thinking you should make it harder, if not impossible, to escape throne room encounters, for you can press any number which is not one of the option and the visitor will go away, or you'll be escaping from facing him to be exact, and this will make the game become unrealistic if, let's say, one of your well-trained staff comes and requests leaving his position and you don't want him to go, pressing 0 will make his visit as if nothing happened, the sames applies when you are requested to increase your units' wages and you escape it without even giving a word to them smile
BTW I have finally, yet barely, passed my first year exam in history and am waiting to see more years coded.

Just another suggestion for the kings entertainment could be some characters who tell jokes from time to time or maybe adding fortune tellers would be another bit of entertainment.

Niklas, that's what jesters are for, you hire a jester and then if you speak to them in the staff screen they tell you jokes, also you get visiting joke tellers in the throne room

Quite a long time waiting for this update, was working on a few things and it's been hectic on my end but here it is, with 50 features in total and a few that I've really enjoyed testing out! Some notable features are now those little pest bandit groups that spawn within your lands and massacre your peasants are a little different, they are usually met by your soldiers and their troublesome actions aren't always peasant killings, also we have some new races, a bunch of new randomly generated building types, knightly orders have been reworked and are now MUCH more functional, you can have them fight with the pests, take down the bandits/rebels or even assist in defending the realm, and they do pretty much all of those things effectively, a few new throne room encounters and a crapton of bugfixes! enjoy guys smile

The new demonic pits added in the update are found in independent demon kingdoms, as you probably know each independent kingdom has three structures, demon kingdoms now have a chance of getting demonic pits smile

Hi. At wasteland are, I have a few ideas that I want to share with you. Firstly, what about the ability to name your king? That would be a really nice feature, or at least, I think it would.  And sorry that I spelt your name wrong, I'm using dictation on iPhone. And what about the ability to choose how you became a king? That would also be quite nice. And some ascii text still appears in some places, even with the feature turned off. I turned animations off as well. And I have an idea for a new race. You could call them Gunnerishand they could be some kind of a mutant.

Hopefully, we'll get a fully accessible open world game someday.

Just to add another idea, I think the ability that the king in person could be part of battles, exploration and the like could be funny as well. In other fantasy settings, like in lord of the rings, the kings can take an active role in such things as well.

If that gets bigger and bigger, I could imagine that it will get more bigger and interesting than smugglers, gameplay and content wise, if it hasn't more to offer already. Cool thing, keep it up. The suggestions about quests, mini stories and adventures while exploring new areas and missions to accomplish are inspired by smugglers and the myth based quests I menssioned are from king of dragon pass. Sure, smugglers has another theme, but I think that the elements I menssioned here, like quests, mini adventures and the like could fit into warsim as well in general.

wow, i read on the redit page even the suggestion of the magic schools. Sounds fascinating in my opinion and sound like it would put a bit of harry Potter and the like feel to the game, wich would fit nicely into a fantasy setting. I have to say that I don't played the game for a long time, because I wanted to wait till sound effects come into it. That could make the whole thing very cinematic, especially if you watch fights and battles. So I hope the adventure, Stories and mission and quest suggestion fit as well. But i think it could, and if you can be part of journies and fights or battles personally in the future possibly this could get even more interesting.

Hi all.
These creatures are a lot different, they fight amongst themselves for nothing, they can't talk, they weren't magically transformed, and they only live near beatches and forests, some of them love to live in water, they need to eat and drink.
When they fight, they normally kill each other.
The groups they sometimes live in are called farms, because they can't talk, you can't communicate with them.
They won't attack, but if a kingdom attacks them first, they will go into the mainland where all the kingdoms are.
And what about the ability to advance your kingdom?
You could research different technologies, like the longbow or facebook.

Hopefully, we'll get a fully accessible open world game someday.

I even liked the idea to have different religions and different motivs. Such things can make the conflicts even more different and give more variations to it. Other aspects could be phanatism and terrorism, so there could be purely bad characters similar to sauron in Lord of the rings. They could be part of other races as well, not only the demonic ones.

Been a little while since the last update again, had some issues with the code and it's taken a while to get it fixed (thank god for backups), this edition has a few new knightly order features, there is also a level of interactivity with the laughing lion ship if you find it docked in the blackmarket, we have a new teacher and his first lesson in the history guild and there are craptons of new flags, faction names as well as new bandit faction naming system which uses animals names, and finally lots of new demigods including creepy eyeless ones! Wow, that would be awesome, realy. I think the sounds will stay optional, right? I ask because this way, People who can't hear or have difficulties with Hearing even can enjoy the game if the sounds are an optional Addition wich isn't a requirement for the game to enjoy. Anyway, Keep it up.
