Not as far as I'm aware, unless different versions of original crystal with the crystal clear patch use different memory addresses... try moving around and pressing M to see if your map changes, mine's just constantly stuck in one of the pokemon centers.

O I don't use the map as often as I use the path finder, and footsteps work so that's good enough for me.

Sure, it does. Problem with that though is creating custom labels for notable objects doesn't work, and you can't create names for the new maps that they add. And for me personally, it bothers me to just see warp 1, warp 2, warp 3... lol.

Yeah but there's always a sign next to the building saying what it is, and I don't think crystal clear is as bad about warps as anniversary is, and you should still be able to rename objects.

Yes, you can... but the problem is renaming objects is based off which map you're currently on. Or in CC's case, which map it thinks you're on. Buildings, sure. But since they're still expanding with new zones, not everything has a sign. So it's largely a quality of life thing, but it'd make things way more convenient.

They problem on this pokemon crystal clear is that you cannot use the map navigation and the object location keys. So that means, you cannot find objects, location of trainers along the way. you cannot find the location of doors alsow and so on.
You can move though but whats the point of that if you cannot tell the location of those objects, doors and trainers and npcs? All it give me if i am pressing m or j, k and l is that "the map is empty"

I'm not sure what's going on with your copy, but everything works perfectly fine here aside from what I talked about above.

ah right, finally got my hand on this crystal clear beyta 2.0 but I'm stuck at olivan center alsow.
I mean, its not that I am really stuck cause I can move but i cannot tell if i enter another area cause the description of the map remains the same. it says "olivan center" if I press the letter M key.
The anniversary crystal is much much better in terms of accessibility compared to this crystal clear beyta or that of crystal clear baby or snowey or any other hack of crystal clear.

You can tell changing areas by the music. Speaking of which you can even turn that off here if you so desire. In my experience running the scripts with different hacks of crystal with enough new content to matter, anniversary and clear are among the most compatible. Plus I already got 8 badges and been through sea folm island in crystal clear and am working on decorating my room, so that must count for something.

Playing Anniversary Crystal and

The rest of this post is spoiler

I'm amazed of the dungeons to find the legendary birds of Kanto. I didn't remember these dungeons because the last time I played and completed (with help in the Unown Puzzle) it was in 2016. After months I posted it here.

Now I'll go to find Moltres...

BTW Battle Tent Ruins is hard but doable. If you played Pokémon R/G/B/Y or even Fire Red and Leaf Green, you perhaps can remember the spin tiles. They're the same thing, the problem is that the script's camera don't recognizes that tile.

Speaking of Anniversary Crystal, when you visit the Pokémon Ddaycare for the first time, the granps will give you an egg, but after you play the game for sometime, in the south exit of the daycare there will be an egg that when hatched, the Pokémon out of that egg can be any starter of Kanto or Johto.

And the Pokémon have its characteristics... oh I didn't noticed thatt after YEARs!

ah nod.
But speaking of anniversary crystal, anyone remember how to enable the sound of a footsteps?
I This 0X2984c is not working so I thought, this is not the right number on this anniversary?
the default number in lua is 0x292c but what to change so that the sound of the footsteps will be enable?

@UltimateBlade If you want total fun try to play it without a guide or walkthrough. That's the part of the adventure, once you really really feels stuck in a certain part go for a guide, but only for that part, that's my suggestion.

hey, do any of you have tried the pokemon crystal challenge?
It seems, it is very accessible with this lua scrypts on this PCA.
It has battle online at the very beginning that is why you starting area is at cherry grove city at pokemon center where that battle feature of the game is located.
According to the description, it says "you can find someone to battle" so I assume that this someone being refered to on the description is another person or player online?
Cause i am not sure for i did not tried it yet.
I only test the lua scrypts on it and all the map navigation key, the j k l navigation key is perfectly working on it.

Completing Anniversary Crystal... I've caught 249 Pokémon! The remaining Pokémon are Unown and Mew.

The rest of this post is spoiler

Damnit, Mew's dungeon is really confusing... holes everywhere, doors that take you to a part with other holes, and only one boulder that if you throw it towards one of the holes there is no message saying "The boulder fell through.". That means that's not the function of that boulder. Confusing and frustrating.
Still need to complete at least one Unown puzzle. Oh well, even Kanto's dungeons to catch the legendaries were doable at all! Zapdos's dungeon was the most easy of the fourt ones. Reaching the end... soon.
Edit: Nevermind, I caught Mew! This cave was very simple, but now the remaining Pokémon is that damn Unown.
