Pressing LT and X if you are using x360 controller, otherwise, don't know really. Sadly, game is partially playable, and without help from the sighted help nearly impossible to play. This section at the beginning shows everything. Simply object locator / tracker is tracking an enemy and this is why I can't go to the elevator. More, if you can go somewhere closer to the elevator, it's less or more lucky.

hi, I finally managed to get to the elevator, and now I go left, and when I go up, it says shoot off there lims for an extra damage.
and then another voice says use melee to knock off enemies.
then I hear someone screaming after that message, I knock the electricity, open the door and isaak is screaming, then an enemy attack me again.
the problem is, I cannot shoot them.
how to kill those enemies?
going in to the wilds, collecting pokedex, and capturing them are my kind of thing,

if I'm totally blind, can I still play this series? From all the discussion going on, sounds like it would be possible. I'd like to play something other than fighting games as a casual player cuz fighting games are where my tournament side comes out.

Well first and formost be aware. Dead space is playable, but you need to have a lot of payshants and be prepared to try things repeatedly if you fail. Its a really scarry game, so if your not a fan of games like resident evil don't bother with it.

I am up to using the stasis module. I find it hard to use on this particular part. its this arm that I have to slow down. How can I slow it down? I know how to use the module, but I just dont know where to stand or where to aim.

Ah that's no problem. that's how I learned how to play fighting games competitively. Trying setups and combos over and over till I mastered them.
Anyhow, that sounds like my type of game actually. I'm going to trust you on the notion that it's indeed playable with patience required. Gonna go pick it up then.

This bit is tricky. If you got the second arm to even extend to the track, you need to stacis it by turning towards it and hitting it with stacis before it locks into place. The fun part then is actualy finding your way to the autoloader activator to repair the tram. Did you manage to extend the first arm at least? That one should come out with no difficulties.

You most likely opened a locker. If you pick up the item inside, proceed left down the ramp and you will pass by a stacis recharge station. Your first enemy should spring up. Quickly dismember him and remember to heal whenever possible. Next, use your locater to point you in the direction of the second auto loader. Find it and extend it to the track. While its extending, center it and hit it with a quick blast of stacis. Now here's what I do. Use the path locater quickly to point you in the right direction and run forward a few steps. Turn to the right a bit and keep tapping the use button, on pc this key is e. If you hit it before the arm retracts, you will have repaired the first part of the tram and can now move on to getting the actual databoard.

If you picked up the module that the dieing surviver gave you, you need to move some debris out of the way. If you mean the bumps as in your in the science lab, its a door that needs to be stacisd. I hope you have some good amunition and a lot of medkits. Because If you don't, your gonna get slagd. And I mean, really quick.

hi, now I am at the part where it says anomaly detected, quarantine activated.
after that there are many enemies, I'm not sure, I think this one is a leaper and a slashers.
what should I do?
do I need to shoot them, or run from them?

I don't know since I only have the game currently on playstation 3, as well as ds 2 and 3. But if your running on vista that's where you get the lags in the controls I mentioned a while back.

Hello Everyone.
I have converted some of the dead space 1 chapters into audio files so that I could listen to them. I didn't do them I got them off a youtube channel TheRadBrad. If you guys want to watch them and plenty more game playthroughs on youtube check out the channel it's excellent. I've been listening to the story and gameplay and it's absolutely scarifying! If anybody want's me to upload these just let me know. There a lot easier to manage as audio files then dealing with the frustrations of youtube on the desktop.
@Ulisesmonge39, I believe that all you need is windows 7 or 8 and to download steam from steampowered.com for help setting up steam check out the steam guide in the articles room which will tell you how to make it accessible. Steam doesn't have backwards compadibility at all so doesn't run well on vista and probably won't correctly at all on windows xp. Once you have all of this go to the store and you can purchase and download dead space directly to your computer.

I've been trying to find the best way to record some sort of gameplay of dead space so that people can here what its like, but i'm still working on how to set up my ipod properly. Its still a grate game though, and dephanatly one of the best shooters and survival horer themed games i've ever played.
