Hi.

For the last two or three days, audiogames.net frontsite has been very unstable. That's something which usually is being fixed pretty quickly like in a few hours. Does somebody know what's going on?
Could errors by any chance be replaced with a direct link to the forum, so people who are posting every day still can check the forum? It's not all people who know you can access the forum on
forum.audiogames.net

Best regards SLJ.

Moderation!

This should've been in site and forum feedback since it is obviously about the site,  so I've moved it. Well Slj I've have actually noticed one or two errors of that sort recently as well, I don't know if Sander and Richard have been doing anything with the hosting though i do remember we had a conversation about this a while ago. It seems fine at the moment however.

Still, having a direct link to the forum is no problem. just go to http://forum.audiogames.net/index.php

Bang that in your favourites or bookmarks or whatever.

Myself I do usually go through the front site but that's partly out of habbit and partly so I can check the update link to see if anyone else has been doing anything to the db besides me.

Weird, I've had problems with accessing the forum instead... But yeah, seems stable now, doesn't it? smile

I've been having a lot of forum database problems, that is, getting warnings when I try coming here relating to the user database or something, something about max users in connection or some such message, which doesn't make any sense, as the forum should be able to handle a ton of connections.

I am also facing the problem with it as well. yesterday when I open up the forum, it told me can not connect to servers database. I think the forum should be fix.

Thanks for moving the topic.
As I'm writing this, I'm getting the error again. It says: [vhost v2] release 2.2.5

That's all. smile

Best regards SLJ.

I've been experiencing intermittent log-in issues too. When this happens, I'll get a "bad gateway" message. Funny thing is though, it doesn't happen all the time so I'm guessing this bug would be somewhat difficult if not impossible to reproduce.

Hi.
It seems as it's an issue at my end, properly something on my jobs connection which blogs the website or whatever. When I launch the front page from my phone on 3g, I don't get this error, but as I'm writing this, I get the error from my work computer.
I'm sorry I haven't bug fixed that before making the topic... But it seems as others are having other kinds of issues.

Best regards SLJ.

Hi.

I've sent a message to Richard and Sander  about these errors people experience with a link to this topic, so hopefully they can let us know what is happening.

I believe I encountered the "can't connect" problem once myself, but it was fixed as soon as I refreshed the page.

Hi All,

I was on a vacation, we tried to fix this from Thailand... big_smile
There were too many connections to the database host, some of our projects (AnswerGarden) were becoming rather popular and apparently our host shares the same account for the maximum connected users.
I hope it hasn't occurred anymore after the fix one and a half week ago. Sorry for the inconvenience...

Best,
Sander
