For those of you into interactive fiction, the Xyzzy awards are going to be this coming Sunday, March 4, at 5:00 PM Eastern, 2:00 Paciffic, or 22:00 GMT/UTC. The awards will be held on ifMud, a mud where a lot of interactive fiction people hang out. If you aren't familiar with ifMud, this is not a role-playing/fighting/combat mud, just a mainly social mud where folks hang out. The telnet address is ifmud.port4000.com port 4000. For the web interface where I think you can request a character, go to http://ifmud.port4000.com:4001 and follow the links. If you have problems, connect to the telnet side of the mud at port 4000 and type "connect guest" to log in as a guest, then type "lounge" to travel to the room where most of us hang out.
