Hi guys,
Just today I observed that, upon posting in a topic or creating a new one, an error was displayed alerting me that only one post can be sent every ten seconds, despite me not posting within the last ten seconds. If I go back to the topic, I can see that the post did actually submit. What's going on?

Just another beautiful butterfly in ag.net's growing bug collection.

Yeesh. I've seen that one before, but only when I rapid fired posts. But if it's saying that and you haven't done it, yeah that's a problem.
It's very easy, if you see a topic about BGT, simply don't reply to it.
If you're thinking about creating a topic about BGT, just don't.
Doing these things will cause all such topics to sink to oblivion.

Ya think??

No it's a completely normal behavior from a website of this type.
You see, whenever you join the ag.net forum website, time slows down but you don't realize it. Your computer registers that it hasn't past 10 seconds even though more than a minute could've passed.
In the case of this website, 1 second is one real life year. This means that 10 seconds is 10 years, so in order for you to make the next post you'll have to wait an entire decade.

It's probably not even worth pointing out bugs of this nature, or bugs full stop, any more. Clearly no one is actually around to fix them.

Just wondered if it was only me.

Hey, good idea!
We could have the admins make it a sticky topic and have everyone post errors that they find in it!
No... That'd give this website such a horrible look and it wouldn't be good.

As Haily Merry said though, as there's affectively no one to take care of these bugs, I don't particularly see the point. Again, I was only trying to see if it was part of user-error, or if there was some kind of way around it, as I experienced it out of the blue. Just switched to a new Browser, and the issue persists. I guess not then!

@11
You should read the site and forum feedback topic made by one of the mods talking about the site bugs and changes they're going to address and fix soon.

It was an interesting read, thanks for recommending.
Either way, it appears the bug is fixed now.
