Hi,

I'm looking for a set of the eight Harry Potter movies, dvd or blu-ray, with audio description, but I don't know which set to get. Some sets on Amazon say that they have audio description, but some other sites claim that it's only for some of the movies, so I don't really know what to believe. I'm prefferably looking for the UK audio description with the same woman reading all eight movies. Do anyone here know which set to get?

Thanks in advance.

for a second i thought you were asking for naughty mp3 copies but you weren't. lol. i'm not sure where you live but as far as i know the box sets in the UK and America should have them on as long as you buy from a propper retailer. same should be the case for most of the world though. amazon tend to tell you the available languages and that usually covers described.

Who's that trip trapping over My bridge? Come find out.

I watched the DVD's 1 through 5 and no audio discription in the US. It could because the dvds are dated. I wish you luck.

It's important to note that if Amazon or some other seller says something is audio described, and you get it, and it's not, you can almost certainly get your money back if you send back the item.

The problems is though, that if Amazon says, that it's audio descriped, and then only some of the movies are, then they're tecnically not lying, I guess. I don't want to buy a set just to find out that one or two of the movies are audio descriped.

Hi.
If you buy them from iTunes, you'll both get them audio described in English, but also maybe in your own language. You can check out the details before you buy.
I know it's not what you're looking for, but that might be your best option depending on where you come from.

Best regards SLJ.

Hi,
When I got the Harry Potter collection a few years back, films 4 through 8 had description. It would actually be interesting if there have been some re-releases since that have corrected this. This is exactly what happened with the Star Wars complete sarga release just before Force Awakens, for the first time ever all of the films were described in one release.

On iTunes you can buy a bundle with all the films, and they've all got AD. As Claire has just reminded me: The quality wasn't all that great - the first 1 or 2 were only just about in stereo, but the latter few had surround.

I really wish they'd been done as a series: I felt the films were massively rushed, and almost relied on you having read the books before hand.

Here's the iTunes link we used: https://itunes.apple.com/gb/movie-colle … d716805945.

Hello,

Thank you all for the inputs. I ended up buying the Collection with all eight films from iTunes, so fare, it seems that they all is audio descriped. The Price was also much lower then I would expect for a set of dvd's, so all in all the right choice, I think.
