Hi,
@Daterre:
Thanks for the help. Yes, I was talking about steam, and you're right, it is a nightmare. Fortunately, I managed to get a refund and purchased the game via the other link. It now works wonderfully.
You've created a fantastic game, and I really hope we'll see a sequel one of these days.
Why does this game drain my iPhone battery extremely quickly? I played for about 5 minutes and my battery went from 73% or so to 32%. What's up with Unity working the processor like crazy and draining so much power?
@178 you may want to check your battery health.
to do that incase you dont know, go to settings, battery, battery helth
I'm using an iPhone 6s. The battery health is currently at 89% which isn't too bad. Again, why is the app using this much power? My phone heats up after a very short period of time which suggests it's running the CPU at max or close to max speed and draining a lot of battery power.
Mabey the phone can't handle a load like that for a long time.
Just a quick question.
does anyone know if the game will run on 32 bit windows?
I'd be interested in getting a copy for my lady from Itch.io, but don't want to run into the same trouble as I did with Hell hunter.
Doesn't look like 32 bit Windows is supported. My copy of the game is a 64 bit application.
For better or for worse, a lot of things, not just games, are going exclusively to 64 bit. Maybe her computer can run 64 bit Windows? It's worth looking into, anyway.
Good to know. I'd actually forgotten her machine was! 32 bit until Hell hunter didn't work on it.
In fairness when my lady got her laptop in 16, things weren't quite as extreme, she likely would have upgraded before now if it weren't for lockdown, since she needs something with more ram anyway, hopefully we can sort that out later this year and then my lady can try more games out.
Hi Dark,
A pc that was bought in 16 can run 64 bit windows.
As for the iphone, I had a 6, and video calls would drain the battery the way you described. These old phones can't keep up with modern apps anymore, so that was why I upgraded.
To be fair, the game makes my phone really warm, and I have an IPhone XS. Haven't checked the battery health in a while, but the game's affect on my battery is fairly dramatic.
Tbh I'm so glad I have it for PC, the game is easier for me to play there. I can get through most of hard difficulty without too many game-overs (until the last 6 levels or so). And it doesn't tax my PC like it does my phone, so I"m overall happier with the PC experience.
Of course I have no beef with buying the game for two devices though. It's obvious lots of work and tlc was put into it!
Hello,
Try turning blindfold mode on for some battery saving.
@Ghost, at this stage, since the laptop doesn't have a great ram, its probably worth buying a desktop anyway, and just keeping the laptop for occasions she needs something portable.
@188, I'm pretty sure it's already off on mine, but I'll double-check.
Just got this game, and I can't help but be a little frustrated. Anyone else notice that when you turn off accessibility, the main menu actually has background music but as soon as you enable it, the music is turned off and there's no way to change that?
@191 It's not actually turned off. It's lowered as far as I recall. That's how it was last time I played the game. Perhaps we can suggest they add a music volume control to the game instead of lowering it down when turning accessibility mode on.
But still, it's a great game over all
Definitely not complaining. I like the game so far, as on rails as it is. I really want to see an audio burnout, which is kind of what this looks like.. but I definitely want that background for the main menu. I think it's a bit presumptive to assume that just because you have accessibility on means you want music turned down. lol
I love everything to do with this game. sounds, music, voice acting, oh and how dynamic the car sounds are!
The game itself is fantastic. I would love to see more from the developer... and I wish this game had a survival mode or different courses that could be connected to leader boards, similar to Sequence Storm.
Hey guys, we are releasing a small update next week. One thing that we are doing is tweaking a little bit the easy difficulty to have clearer and more distinct cars stereo side, a little bit softer music in the music level and some other small audio stuff. Do you have any other suggestions for places we might tweak? especially for people with hearing difficulty or any other places that were just too hard?
Any suggestion is welcome! Thanks!
i persinaly think if you fail a level enough on any dificulty their should be a skip level option, but it has some kind of negitive effect, or a limit of how much you can do that, and i'm wondering about when endless mode is comming
