So wen i'm looking at something dark a few seconds later that area just shines in light like it's daytime. Then the intire room starts to begin glowing like i'm outside. I find it really creapy.
Anyways i hate light it herts my eyes so i don't no what's cauzing this. And wen i close my eyes and open them it doesn't go away. And ide really like to find out waht the  heck this is. so thanks.

If you for whatever reason wish to contact me, the best way to do so is through Discord (Minionslayer#2980). You'll get the quickest response times, and by extension, a higher priority. I also sometimes post my thoughts (for the better or worse) over on Twitter at @Minionslayer2.

oh, i happend to face this same situation almost evrynight however it doesn't scare me out  because it's pritty natural for me, do you get feeling like you're somehow floating on the room, sometimes this happens like an outter body experience
speaking about being feeling like you're being watched atnight, i had that when i was young and still do, something about dark places it is, but i've gone past that feer a while ago
what i can suggest in this situation is to think of something that calms you down, something nice that you like, that offen helps, also, try to observe the situation, as in, just look at it as if you were watching and let it pass, and do what you do, if you've meditated before you te understand, if this doesn't help, let me know and i can probably recommend something else.
if you feel like you're being watched, and you know from where, the direction, just ignore it, and don't turn to that place, let it pass, simply iknowledge that you're being watched, and then let go
have a nice day

hi
this could be shadows, I also have this problem time to time

2021-04-02 20:52:31

yeah, I also get the "I've closed my eyes and it's not dark" thing.  I'll think it's daylight out at like 9 at night until I check the clock and go "it's not daylight anymore, huh" after which the room is dark, as it should be.  I think it's pretty normal.  I've heard different variations on this from lots of people, whether it be "I see what I should be seeing", "I see random lights" or whatever.  I also have the glowing half circles thing from time to time--though less frequently, now that my vision is gone--which I was told is just part of Lebers.  There's also Charles Bonnet syndrome, where you get visual hallucinations of one sort or another which you know aren't real even while you're having them, which is somewhat common among blind people.  I've never heard of a treatment for any of this--you just have to ignore it.  Maybe talk to an eye specialist if you haven't, but I wouldn't freak out about it.  Betting your vision loss is progressive and this is new for you; mine is progressive, and when I was very young I didn't have any of this, then I spent a year being freaked out by it because random lights out of nowhere is startling when you're 8 or so, then I got over it and now I barely notice even though it's there.

As for feeling like you're being watched, I have no idea how common that is but I used to have it all the time when I was a kid and still get it every once in a while.  Not being able to easily confirm the room is empty and having the "there is someone here" prediction misfire is always unsettling, but it can easily be chased off by just reasoning through whether it's possible--for example I'm in my apartment, I know the door is locked, etc.  Or by just walking with your arms out, if that's not enough.  This also got worse as I lost more vision, but like with the visual stuff I just grew out of it for the most part somewhere along the way.

Yeah sometimes I'll have this bright, almost painful light that I know isn't there when my eyes are closed, so I have to open them and force them as wide as they can go to make it chill out.

well, i'm glad to no that this is actually something that happens to other people, i wasn't sure or not so that's surprising.
I also don't get the fieling of floating yet, anyways.

I don't have that, but what happens to me, is if light is shining on a reflective surface, and I wave my hand behind the surface, I can see the shadow of it moving. I first noticed this at school looking at the top of my desk, and thought it was pretty neat.

thanks,
