Thanks for your comment.
Do you have some examples on where spoilers might be necessary?

Not particularly, but I always like a bit of story when I'm reading the guide. It doesn't have to be every line, but it helps give some life to the instructions.

I think I get what you mean. I'll see if I can come up with something in the future. Maybe just mention the locations?

Have you had any luck figuring out the upgrade menu? It seems important but I'm not quite sure what OCR is telling me. It's probably a bad idea to go into battle later on without proper equipment.

Hi.
No, not yet. I'll spend more time on playing the game next weekend and catch up on the guide.
I have decited to move the guide to an other website, which makes me able to structure the guide much better. I'll of course keep this topic updated, and change the link in the articles room to the new location. I plan to work on that as well next weekend.

Best regards SLJ.

Hi all.
I have the following really exciting news to share about the guide:
1. The guide is now officially hosted by the great people behind the Break Down Walls website. that makes it possible for me to make a much better structure on the guide, making it easier to navigate.
That makes it easier to share, and hopefully more blind gamers will recognise the guide and maybe find it useful, when it's hosted on a website by a community, who are not just being followed by a great number of disabled gamers, but also game companies who care about accessibility.
2. I have improved the guide a lot, and I mean a lot. I have made so many small and bigger improvements during the last two weeks that it would be too much to write it all in this post.
So, no matter if you have read the guide before or not, I hope you'll check out the new version. I'm doing what I can to make the guide as good as possible.
The game is currently on great discount at the moment, so if you find the guide interesting and haven't picked up the game yet, then now it's a great time to purchase it. I'll say it's very much worth all the money.
My hope is that this guide will make more people able to enjoy this awesome game.
I hope you enjoy the guide, and that you'll help sharing it if you find it worth sharing...

Best regards SLJ.

Aww, I just wasted my paycheck on MK11's dlc. Will Microsoft allow me to abuse the refund system twice in 6 months, let's find out.

Yeah I know. I have both an xb1 and a ps4. Just wish I would've noticed the discount before buying Metal Gear solid 2 and MK11 aftermath.

Only one correction. repair does not make you choose which part to repair. Repairs are automatic. When you press repair, you have to guide the sentinel to a safe location. So when you press x on repair, you are brought to the standard movement screen. There's no selection of what to repair. Also, as far as I know, defense mode doesn't restor power. I might be wrong about that, though.

The link is also in the articles room in the original topic.
@Assault_freak: Thanks for the correction. I'll write that on my to do list for the next update. Thanks a lot for checking it out.

You're welcome. And one more I just found.. the top slot in the load game menu is not slot 1. It's the autosave slot.

What? Really? Thanks for that really important correction. I couldn't see that by using OCR. Did you got sighted help to confirm that?

No. I used OCR... go up to the very top of the menu, and it's written there clear as day. lol IF tht doesn't work, go to the very bottom instead. I notice in some menus for games OCR tends to pick up the option below where your cursor is. If nothing else, press the touchpad to delete a save slot, and it will confirm with you whether you want to delete the data in that slot, and it should tell you when you have autosave highlighted.

Less playable, yes. There is an old huge topic about the game somewhere on the forum. I won't buy it.

It's less playable than this one is, just because of the genre difference. But it is still playable.

I just started a fresh playthrough, because I don't want to jump back in in the middle of things as the plot is so complicated. What are peoples' solutions for targetting? Sometimes enemies just don't show up on anyone's radar, and I'm wondering if it's because I don't understand the targetting cursor movement and how it works? Moving sentinels to different locations doesn't help either. Wondering if anyone has a trick I don't know about yet. Good example is in the prologue battle with Amiguchi, Goto and Takamiya, wave 6. After a while, kaiju just seem to stop showing up. This is after the first wave of enemies is taken care of.

45,

This is the problem with the game in my experience. Some of the weapons you have access to are very short-ranged, but we have no obvious way to figure out where the kaiju are. They are obviously still on the map, but hunting them down becomes an exercise in tedium.

I've experienced this many times and it's one of the reasons I don't care for destruction mode.
