Hi:
I downloaded the version 3.8 and I get the error bad file name or number when first running the game. I used the checkup tool, tried running as administrator--nothing works. How do I fix this?
Did you get the latest patch?
I downloaded the 3.8 patch but it said the patch was for people who were still on an older version. I'll try patching it and see what happens.
THe patch fixed the problem ... but I have a strange glitch that's probably specific to my laptop. Sinc I don't have a discrete mouse I use the trackpad for mouse input. However instead of using the right mouse button to walk I have to use the left, and the right mouse button to fire. Strange.
Hi all, is anyone else having problems logging into swamp? I was bumped off line this afternoon at 1:00 CTS.
Haven't seen anyone else asking bout this so, I wonder maybe there's a patch I'm unaware of? I mean, I got the latest patch I know of which is, swamp 3.8E and the swamp patch.3.
Maybe its just something simple like aprone's cat clipped the laptop lid, and the whole server got shut down. lol

I am also having the same problem. I can get to the screen where i select my character, but after that I get this message. The server appears to be offline, or could not be contacted for some other reason.
Does anyone have a good soundpack i can use.

Yeah, the game's been down for 2 days now. I'm sure the developer knows about the problme, and at this point all we can do is wait. Best to let him work it out

I believe that you have to redownload the patch as the version of the game on his site isn't actually the latest version. hope this helps.
Try running checkup.exe first.

does this game supports controllers somehow? I hurd there was something witch allows you to use controller in this game but i'm not totally sure about that
