Hi guys,
I am currently trying to find myself a good and not too expensive solution to record, edit and mix stuff; I am thinking about implementing Reaper in my plans. As of now, I worked with logic and pro tools, mainly with Logic, but in some situations with pro tools. But I came to the opinion that paying every year for these pro tools update plans is too expensive for me, also the system needs lots of computer power. In both programs I have mixer views in which I can choose the volume and panning of each track which is in the daw. This is quite useful if I just begin mixing something, because I can just start playing the project and move around the single tracks in its volume and panning to optain a certain mix I can use as a reference to later on improve the sound with some automation. Is there a way in Reaper to easily change volume and panning of a single track? It would really help me to decide wether Reaper is a solution for me or not. I listened to lots of tutorials showing me how to do editing in Reaper, and I even played around with this a little bit, but I couldn't find many resources about mixing and stuff.
Best regards
