Hi.


i've read and continue to read Harry potter fan fiction and think I will until I die so I don't really have a favorite type of Harry potter fan fiction but here's some sub genres you might want to check out.


Just search for this term on google, after typing in Harry potter and hitting space, and you'll be reading that type of fan fiction in no time.


Time travel.


Bashing fan fics.


Fluff.


Abused.


Disabled.


Slash, gay relationships.


Femslash, female relationships.


Good dirslies.


Evil dumbledoor.


Good Voldemort.


I'm sure I've missed a few but there's some to get you reading.

Harry and Draco pairings have always intrigued me, if done well, that is. Some Harry and hermione pairings can be good too. As for subgenres, I don't really have any, but I definitely prefer fanfics that have an alternat ending to the original series, since I hate the real ending with a passion.

This may be obvious by now, but I have a huge bias towards trans fan fiction. There's a lot more out there than you'd think.

Hi.

@turtlepower17 harry/draco is good if done well as you say, I don't mind the sex focused fics that much but after a while, they can get boring. Give me a good Harry/draco fan fic with a plot, maybe some bashing thrown in and i'll be happy.


@haily_merry, I'm not read many transgender fics but I'm sure if I come across them, i'll enjoy them just as much as the wrest.

I enjoy all fanfictions that don't have harry Ginny in them, hat's my favorite is Harry Gamer fanficts. I love those. IF Someone could post some here I'd lpove it

They're basically where Harry is like a character in a video game.

I'll see if I can find the one I was reading a while back.

The last time I checked it wasn't complete, and I don't think it will be complete for some time.

I think he's at book 3 or 4, can't remember off the top of my head.

There is also a website that lets you download these stories, and what I love about this site is each story you submit to it gets added to their archive.

The drawback is the only formats it appears to support is epub and mobi.

I use edSharp to convert the epubs to txt, then add the ones I like to my collection.

Here is one someone recommended I read.

Normally I don't read stories that follow cannon because they're kind of taking the lazy way out.

You may as well just read the actual books in stead.

This one isn't complete, but it does get regular updates every couple of weeks.

As I write this, they're up to the Yule Ball.

What makes this one different? The title should give you an idea.
