Yeah, unfortunately, QCast isn't so great anymore. It used to be a solid podcatcher, until it stopped receiving updates. Now, many feeds that you add can't be interacted with at all. I haven't found anything that comes close to the functionality that QCast had in its heyday, though I'm always willing to be surprised.
I use TuneIn.
I use the podcast support in Winamp; it's natively supported. Foobar2000 has a podcaster plugin as well but it's rather old.
I use iTunes, it works for what I use it for.
One podcast doesnt work with it for some reason, but that's when I paste the podcast url into vlc and grab the episodes that way.
And for those who are curious, it's the maccessibility podcast, no idea why that no longer plays or downloads with iTunes when it use to in the past.
I use luna RSS myself and it works fine for me. Can you go into a little more detail on what errors you're getting?
For me, Luna won't always show all the feeds and the only way to fix that is to import them all again, which gets rid of the categories you might have sorted them into.
I haven't used it in a while, and of course Orin might be getting other errors.
I just started using Grover Podcasts. You can get it from the windows store. It works prety well with JAWS. NVDA doesn't work as well, but the app can be used. Some things don't read, but I am able to search and add podcasts. Playing works great, ed I can adjust the settings.
