I can not remove avast. Is there a way to remove it without assistance?

download avast clear utility and run it in safe mode.

You don’t need to do that. Just use NVDA. The uninstall is accessible with NVDA. I should know, I’ve done it many times myself. Without going into safe mode.

I am a divine being. I can be called a primordial deity, but that might be pushing it, a smidge. I am the only one of my kind to have ten tails, with others having nine. I don't mean to sound arrogant, but I have ascended my own race.

Yeah, I uninstalled Avast without having to go into safe mode, but I thought that was an anomaly. Either way, you should be able to get sound in safe mode now, so it's not as big of a deal as it once was to boot into it.

The glass is neither half empty nor half full. It's just holding half the amount it can potentially hold.

@Marko, that should just come with a Windows update. I honestly can't remember which one but you should be on the latest anyway. Either way, you don't need to do that. as said, turn off your wi-fi (I'm not entirely sure why, if the uninstaller checks for something that needs a network connection), run the uninstaller, with NVDA OCR, press enter on the option you want and do that for every time the window updates.

If you for whatever reason wish to contact me, the best way to do so is through Discord (Minionslayer#2980). You'll get the quickest response times, and by extension, a higher priority. I also sometimes post my thoughts (for the better or worse) over on Twitter at @Minionslayer2.
