I have some ideas about stw: the first is the introduction of epidemics. If you approach less than 3 plates of an infected you get the disease and, if you do not have an antibiotic, you die after a certain time. Infections may have a special flag. It would be nice to start with Corona Virus.
The second idea would be fires: if someone forgets the fire burning when the wind blows, it would spread and burn the surrounding trees. It would cover more and more land, until someone extinguished it with water. I would love for these fires to be able to hurt people. It would be more realistic.
