Each time I start the truck and I turn toware the west I fall into the lake. Why?

You're actually facing west when you first start driving forward. When you're done turning to avoid a hazard, make sure to turn exactly to 0 degrees (use shift+right or left to turn) as your truck will drift slightly to the left or right unless you keep it straight. The idea is to stay facing west.
