Ayone out there know what move can you classify this thunder punch, ice punch and fire punch? Are this moves considered as physical or special?
the reason I am asking this question is that when I try searching in google, there are some people who considere this moves as special but there are other also who considered it as physical.
If I am not mistaken, even the bulbapedia consider this moves as physical but the reason gave by those who claim this move as special is also quite convincing.
So now, i am confuse whether this thunder punch, ice punch and fire punch can be considered as physical or special.

It depends what generation of pokemon you're playing. In the older games, all of a move of an element type will be either physical or special, but in the newer games, an element can contain both physical and special moves, depending on what move type it is. This is what's known as the physical special split, which if memory serves, began in generation 4. So depending on what rom you play and weather or not they implemented the split, it is either or. Best advice I can give you is to look up a move listing and pay attention to how it changed from generation to generation.

Which one gives you the most content that works with the scripts? I have crystal clear, the one without a story, and I nearly beat it. I wouldn't mind playing regions after Joto and Canto.

Only game I know that take place on another continent that kinda works with the scripts is pokemon prism, and that's as finished as its gonna get. Someone said a page ago or so that ancient ruby works good, but that's in early beta I think.

Anniversary crystal I'd have to think is up there content wise. not sure about others as that's the only one I've tried as of yet. would be up to try others though.

hey people, for those of you who wants to experience the pokemon found in pokemon generation 5 and 6 like the ultra sun and moon, try pokemon crystal kalos hack.
Same mechanic same gym leaders same trainers but instead of using pokemons found in generation 2, you are going to use pokemons found in generation 5 and 6 and fight alsow pokemons found in the same generation like this reshirem for example.

So, I downloaded the latest version of Crystal Clear (2.0 Baby) and seems that the footsteps doesn't work anymore, so I changed from 0x2984 to 0x2986 and it worked. A few questions... because I'm new to the CC stuff. Does anyone figured out the character customization screen? Also, does anyone use the function to make a Pokémon follow you?
Lastly, I've tried the button combinations to do a soft reset but it doesn't work. I pressed A+B+Start+Select (Z+X+Enter+Backspace) but nothing happens.
Edit: I don't know if it's my USB keyboard that doesn't let me to press certain keys at the same time, or it's a system thing, I suspect that's the problem, so I had to change the configuration of the keys in the emulator. Now start is i and select is u, and finally SRing worked.

I've another question related to CC. When you get a shiny Pokémon, does that particular sound plays before the Pokémon's cry, when it is out of its Pokéball?

Hi everyone. I began to play CC, and to my surprise, I got a shiny Unown in 23 soft resets. Its hidden power is dragon and the power base is 69, of 70 which is the maximum. Hard starters, but at least I have a shiny Unown (my first shiny Unown in my life). You can choose a Unown letter with up/down arrows when you're in the Unown option. Only I and V letters can be shiny.
BTW, soft reset aren't the same thing as reseting with ctrl+r.

Out of interest, one thing I like about anniversary is the added moves from future generations. does crystal clear have this as well? I'm considering giving this one a good go.

Nope, ShockSlayer said that he will not add features that break compatibility with the original RBY, GSC and Stadium 2 games. This includes new moves, and the physical/special split (PSS). That's the reason why various people don't play it. Some people simply can't play a Pokémon game without PSS.

here are some instructions from page 4:
Ok. farfech'd. here's exactly how to do it
if you just entered the forest
1. use pathfinder to find farfech'd and talk to it
2. repeat above.
at this point, farfech'd will be, according to pathfinder, 3 up, five right. If you have attempted this before, get farfech'd to this point. I'm sorry, I don't remember how. I do know with some patients, you can, using pathfinder, get him to here. You're looking, again, for pathfinder to tell you he is 3 up, five right. If this is your first time and have been following these instructions, you should be here. If you're not, again, have patients and try to get him here. it's almost over.
3. go 3 up, 6 right, 1 down, press left. This will put farfech'd on your left.
4. talk to farfech'd
5. go 1 up, 6 left, 1 down.
6. talk to farfech'd
7. Go 4 down.
8. talk to farfech'd
9. go 2 down, 1 left, 4 down, 3 left, 1 down
10. talk to farfech'd
at this point, if you press j or l a few times, blackbelt should be one of your options on the map. go talk to him and get cut. I hope that helps. I was going to write vague instructions, but realized that wouldn't help much, so, I went through and documented step by step. thank god for earlier saves.

I've a question. I'm playing Crystal Clear and I got an Eevee, which I plan to evolve it to Vaporeon. Its DVs are pretty decent (HP 15, attack 13, defense 15, speed 15 and special 13) but I also have an Omanite which its DVs are excellent (HP 15, attack 15, defense 13, speed 15 and special 13). What do you suggest? A Vaporeon or an Omastar holding a quick claw?

I tried playing this pokemon crystal clear but the screen reader wont work on it even the nvda? was there another lua scrypt just for this?
