I'm not going to point specific fingers here, but I want to point out that as lackluster as this game is at present, we're doing the dev no favours by spitting on him and being snarky. If you don't like the game or think it's underwhelming, that's fine. It's not wrong to say so. But lay off the sarcasm. This may well be a starter project, a way for this guy to get his feet wet, so to speak. If it's not the most trailblazing idea known to man, can you blame him?
Also, can we maybe back off with suggesting the same thing over and over when the dev has already stated it is coming? Four or five people saying that we need to be able to hold down arrow keys to move is, again, fine, except the dev has already said it's on its way. How about we let him do that, eh?

this is one of the few times i agree with things that jade says. having 18 diffferent people all saying hold to walk, this is broken, and OMG best game in the hole world! its revelutionary. Well, being sarcastic i fine, but not to this extreme, so is suggesting something, but a dev says its coming so shut up and be patient, and its just bad how people treat new devs in thiscommunity. not all of them, but i've seen this many a times.
