so i want to play minecraft. i heard it is getting lots of accessibility updates recently. is it accessible? is it worth it?

Nope. We had a hole thread about this a while back, and while it has a screen reader, it is too visual to be completely playable. I need someone with sight to read most of the screens to me, or tell me what's ahead of me.

Hi.
Its semi playable if you have some vision like i do. But the menus are a bit difficult because the writing is small. My bro helped me memorise the menus. Its not playable if your blind.
