For those that weren't signed up for the newsletter, Ravaged Worlds is back online. And since I Don't remember anyone posting about it here, I'm posting it in new releases.

For those that have no idea what Ravaged Worlds is, it's Fallen Worlds by a different name.

For those that don't know what Fallen Worlds is, it's a trading card game where you pick from several different factions and build a deck to battle other players or bots. Each faction has it's own benefits and weaknesses. A campaign is also in develoment.

I doubt I'll be on much since you all know what game I'm playing, but I did try a game in Safari for iOS and though it's a little cluttered, it definitely works better than it used to. It seems screen reader support may have been improved. You can find the game at:

Enjoy!

Oh, sounds interesting. Worths a try!

I remember having a look at fallen worlds, but the interface was just too complex at the time.
Given though that technology has improved, and especially if the game now has better screen reading support, it could be interesting to take a look at.

Edit: okay am quite disappointed, you still can't tell which phase your in, and those random x links are everywhere. Buttons do seem to have been added for deploying cards, but even telling your hand from what is in play is difficult.
Really a simple logical fix to the battle log and a couple of headings would do wonders for the game, as well as a sensible explanation of mechanics and logical popups of card stats rather than all those random x's.

Signed up to look at this, but how the hell are you supposed to know what number= what for the card? Not all cards have attack, power, etc, so the numbers are random. The first thing that needs to be changed is a stat after a number so like 2atk, 2def, etc. I think if that happened this would actually be playable.

It is playable. I win games all the time. The order of the numbers, is resource cost, damage, attack, defense, HP. If a card does not have a given stat, for example; no attack power, it has a zero in that space.

I wouldn't have posted about the game if it weren't completely playable and blind players couldn't win games. I have an 87 percent win ratio, so I am not just guessing at what I'm playing.

O thanks for post it!

Sound very, very interesting. Is time to give a try a new tcg game.

2019-04-04 14:33:49

Could someone help me with the game's rules? Is the game fully accessible?

2019-04-04 15:17:31

How do you know which is which? Like how do you know what stats are missing based on the numbers that're there?

They're in the same order. So if you see a card that says 0, 0, 0, 0, 6, that means it costs 0 resources to deploy and has 6 hit points. If a card just says 2, it's probably an event card and has no stats. If it says 3, 0, 2, 2, 0, it's probably an equip card that costs 3 resources to attach, and gives 2 attack and defense. If it says 4, 5, 2, 2, 6, it's a creature and costs 4 resources to deploy, deals 5 damage, has 2 attack and defense and 6 health. It could also be a scenario that has the escorted trait and thus has damage, attack and so on. It's also possible for scenarios to have defense only, in which case you'd see something like 3, 0, 0, 4, 10.

Yeah that was my problem. The cards with only one number and no 0s.

Those are just cards that have no stats except a resource cost. Before anything is played, it brings up a pop-up that tells you what the card does and you can only play it if you're in the right phase.

Yeah starting to get the hang of this, although I'm still pretty slow.

So I did create a topic called "Accessibility for Visually impaired" in their support section. I was reached out to within hours. Please, anyone who thinks they can offer some valid advice please visit the topic. They seem extremely open to making this as available and fun for everyone.
Link to the topic is below

Does anyone know if you have to pay in order to have good cards and be successful in this game?

I don't think so but I payed so I can't really answer you. Haha.

You can buy booster packs, but if you put in the time; you can earn coins and get stuff

2019-08-08 19:00:58

The game just became slightly less accessible do to a graphics update that seems to have removed the number of resources and your capital. I am going to try to ask the developer if there is anything they can do.

2019-08-08 20:43:25

Perhaps someone could also please ask the developer if we could have some headings and notifications.
With all those x marks and the log really not showing much I still get confused about what is happening when and whose cards are whose when they're on the table.

2019-08-08 22:49:41

@Dark I'll try to see if that is possible.

2019-08-08 23:04:10

That would be good, I really think there is a great game in there, but whenever I try a starter battle with a bot I'm always confused about what is happening when however much I look at the rules.
I suspect much of this is the interface, what with all the phases listed, and no clear idea of which cards are yours and which on the table, and its certainly something that should be relatively easy to fix.

Sorry to bring up an old topic, but is there any hope with this game? Tried coming back, but resource costs and health don't seem to be showing up.

Silly Gohan, animals don't eat people. People eat animals.

It took me about 3 games to fully grasp what each number means and where they are located.  Everything is there.

Resource cost for creature and territory cards are right next to the name.
If you mean number of resources you have available to spend, it is just above your capitals name displayed in a number of resources/total resources format.

As for health, if you mean your total health, as in your capital points, it is the number next to your capital's name.  If you have trouble figuring out what your capital is called or where it is, it will be the only card on your field during your first turn.  If that still does not help, what you can do is go to your deck editor and filter the cards to only display capitals for the specific faction's deck your using.  Then you know the name of the capital card and you can easily locate it when you start playing.

If you mean a specific creature's remaining health, it is the fourth number below the creature's name.  As a previous poster said, the numbers are always displayed in the same order being hit, attack power, defense and then HP.

Is it playable?
