Apple recently released Texas Hold’em on the iOS app store.  Everything that I’ve found so far properly works with VoiceOver.  Unfortunately, it only supports single player and LAN multiplayer.

there are many holdem games in the app store. and I found that many are inaccessible with voice over. can I know which developer developed this game? or the full name of this app?

I WASN'T EVEN GOING TO TRY THE game because I thought baaah I'm sure it's totally inaccessible. Glad to be proven wrong

full game is something like texas holdem, app store classic is back

The game is pretty cool. I wish they would add the possibility to play online against any opponents not just the ones on the same wi-fi network.

how do you check in this game?

double tap on your chips then double tap the wager slider after adjusting it to your liking.

Hi.
I have been playing around with this game for the past few hours, and I think it's got a long way to go before it becomes totally accessible, but it can be played, I guess, if you are willing to tolerate some weird stuff. Theta poker pro, being the app that I learned to play texas holdem with, kinda spoiled me in terms of accessibility, maybe I should consider this a little more...
first of all, the only accessible elements are the bare minimum, your chips, cards, the pot, the blind info and I think that's it, oh yeah and the community cards if they are turned up. Most of your actions are simple, bettting is done by tapping on your chips and moving the slider painfully slowly to the amount you want, I tried double tapping and holding, didn't work. Sometimes it would just stop spinning the slider and say doller null or something and play the boundary sound, and I had to refocus on it to get it to keep spinning. so ok, that kinda works. At least you know theoreticallly how much you need to call if you missed the dialogue of someone betting. Folding is done by dragging your cards to the pot, and going all in is the same but with the chips instead. Makes sense. But then, there's checking. you are supposed to double tap the table, but there is no table. What do you do? If community cards exist, you can tripple tap them, usually that works, although not all the time. But what if you are the big blind and have no more bets to call? You have to turn voiceover off, then double tap the table, and turn VO back on again. That's quite annoying.
Some stuff I didn't mention here but is useful to know, is in this applevis post by Pitermach.

I hope that Apple will come back to this and update it even further, but for now it is, playable for the most part.

Maybe a stupid question but, is it a kind of poker game?

hi, me and my brother played around with it, i'm the only blind one so i can report the following:
checking can be done by sliding the slider to zero.
as for all in, swipe up on your chips and it'll say bet all chips.
for folding, do the same on your cards and it'll say fold.
and yes, it's a poker game.
the single player's also good and usable.
hope someone finds this helpfull.

tried the game, it's pretty awesome.
a question, how did you guys do a check or call the bets? sometimes when I rase the bet, my opponent calls it.

going in to the wilds, collecting pokedex, and capturing them are my kind of thing,
training them, making them evolve, and generally making them stronger is my ultimate goal,
fighting other manamon tamers, winning the tournament, and fighting octoros are what these manamons like to do,
and ultimately, I become the master of mana!

Well, your apponent is supposed to call. Calling a bet simply means tht someone places the same of money  in the pot that you bet. Now that I've gotten a little more used to this I like it for the fact tht it's a little easier to progress through then theda poker. This gives you in game money if you make second or third places which theda doesn't. I don't like the fact that you get face down cards and as far as I know you can't flip them to find out what that card is. I think the sound design for this is pretty cool, although the same claps can be a little annoying. I also wish it would tell you when you put money in the pot for the blinds and when the blinds increase. amount

Actually, ok I have to agree that Theta poker always makes it much harder to win, but if you keep trying You will get to a point where it wil reward you for being second and third, although right after I got there I lost all my money again and now i'm back at the beginning stage again. Yeah it takes time and a lot of luck. The face down card issue is very wweird as well, it's like there are a few cards in the deck that aren't labeled. Problem is the AI sure knows what those cards are and we don't.

Hi!
It's a fair start, just accessible enough to play. However, there's a lot we are missing out on: Secret tells and being able to look at the AI players' stats are chief among them.
For a small indie developer it would be very laudable. For Apple, however, my verdict is: Fair start, but you know you can, and should, do better!
Try these poker songs for that special atmosphere:

By the way, pretty much everything Kenny sings about poker is wrong. Still it's an amazing song.
