Hi,
A few weeks ago I tried to run open tween and TWBlue and both times they didn't work. I also tried to run the snapshot of TWBlue and that didn't work.
Does anyone know how to navigate kaspersky I think it also removed my TWBlue folder just not sure where removed items go. Its also a pain to add things to the exclusions list.

Hi,
if you're using nvda, object navigation should do the job, although confirming their secure screen is bit tricky. I have reported, that it's impossible to pass it from keyboard and received answer, that they are able to do so, so i don't know. smile
However, instead of adding things to exclusions, it would be better to let Kaspersky know about the false positive.
I advice to visit:
https://virusdesk.kaspersky.com/
and send the misdetected file to the analysis. their labs are very quick and responsive. Some time ago, Kaspersky detected all bgt games as viruses, even those most basic like my helloworld project. Then I sent one file to the analysis. in about half a hour I received answer that it was a false positive and kts no longer detected that concrete file. In few days, all bgt games were no longer detected by Kaspersky.
So in this case, sending makes a sense. Kaspersky is very consistent and although it allows you to exclude files, it doesn't like it much.

Best regards

I recommend to disable the self-security option or however it's called in the english Kaspersky version, it will get rid of the secure screens./

Go to settings. If you are using NVDA, this is the fourth unlabelled button in the long array of these, select the self-protection tab (I don't know if the translation is even proper), then, opt for disabling it.
BTW. Kaspersky's not that bad. I installed it in order to help you and it seems to be neat.

i am not sure this is a right solution. Self-defense is a function of antivirus, which allows him to protect himself from being damaged by malware. if you turn it off, any virus could easily disable your av before it starts downloading another viruses. Why would you need such an antivirus?
I personally have been using Kaspersky for years and never had problems with it, even with turn on self-defense. But that have I adressed already. smile

Rastislav, how are you passing the secure screen? The one where even narrator dies?

@Nuno69: cežko. big_smile
but seriously, there is a way how to beat this security thing, even if you're totally blind like me.
The trick is that when you click somewhere on the screen, a sound is played when you clicked out of the window and nothing when you clicked to the area of the window.
Using that information and knowledge, that the window is somewhere in center, you can find it by moving mouse cursor and clicking simultaneously, until nothing is played and then just keep clicking on random places. Just be careful to return back when you run out of it i.e. the sound is played again.
You have a great chance that one of those clicks will activate the continue button.
As I said before, it's bit tricky, but it works. Sometimes it takes longer to do, now I tried to pause the protection and got it on second try in kts 19. So it can be done. Just in times when I need more tries it can drive me nuts. big_smile

That damned screen is inaccessible, so you shouldn't be able to recognize password prompt on it.
My kaspersky is Kaspersky service, which allows you to login in and manage your Kaspersky products. That means managing licences, devices, you can locate them, erase data, make photos etc. for case they are stolen, contact technical support and more.
If you have paid licence, then i recommend it, otherwise I don't know if those services are even for free version. Anyway, logging in is not compulsory, so you should be able to ignore it, although Kaspersky will advertise it to you.

You can try and random click in the area. It might work, as the windows makes the default ding sound when you click in the wrong place.
