Hey so seeing as how the android market is kinda lacking in terms of accessible games, and seeing as how the only few accessible games out there are not really my cup of tea, I was looking into emulation. Now most emulators out there are not accessible, and if they are, the touch controls are a pain. A couple of months ago I stumbled upon psp games repacked as android play store apps and tried those, and surprisingly enough, the touch controls were really appealing. You hold the phone horizontally and basically imagine it's a psp, I was able to play mortal kombat and alike very easely. But these games have been taken out of the play store now, and the ppsspp emulator is not accessible with talkback. So I was just wondering if anyone has managed somehow to run psp games on android through this emulator, because trust me the controls, once you get a game running, are some of, if not the best touch controls out there.

here's a save file that will have you start the first heaven and earth war with over 500k coins to level up your stats and buy casino things, just rename the file to save1.dat and drop it in your game folder

That's interesting to know that most emulators aren't accessible, I didn't really have touch control in mind and wanted to test Dolphin once I get my Dualshock 4 back, perhaps it's not even worth it. Now I'm almost wondering why I wanted a flagship processor in the first place.

Ppsspp isn't, but my boy gba emulator is. I just don't know the button layout.

that's a real bummer, considering how great the ppsspp button layout is. I don't always have my ps vita or 3ds with me so was hoping to make use of my phone as a gaming device but oh well

you might be able to find the APK's for those games on torrent sites or something.

Maybe I'll put my gba collection on my phone. The buttons even vibrate when you push then.

Yes I can probably find the .apk's on the web, but they take like three times more space than a regular psp .iso, also with ppsspp you can compress them into .cso and save up even more space.

To the guy talking about Dolphin, it actually does work. That being said PPSSPP didn't work, at least their interface didn't, i don't know if you can choose to open a .iso with ppsspp, I didn't copy over my isos yet. Does anyone know if Drastic and epsxe are accessible? SNES9Ex+ didn't work either and I was a little bummed about that, I wish they would integrate voice control into retroarch

Hi.
@NevEd
I bought DraStic a while ago, so I can tell you about accessibility. As for ePSXe, I cannot answer that one, as I don't have that app.
The initial startup screen is not accessible with TalkBack. You can navigate it, but the menu text will not be read, instead reading "button" for every option, and you cannot double-tap to activate it.
The rest of the interface sort of works, but it's a bit quirky. For example, in the options menu, if you clicked one option, instead TalkBack will think you've clicked the option above it.
For example, if selecting the Advanced settings option which is the last option in the options screen, it will instead click one of the options above it, instead of the option you were wanting to select.
Those are the only quirks of the app. The only reason I was able to use the app and play games was because I am low vision and thus have enough site to use it.

Huh.. That's a shame.. Would be just great if they'd integrate a TTS API into retroarch. This almost makes me miss my gpd win 2.. ah well.. At least dolphin works.
